Jay Crusoe is burning up the tech house scene with his latest banger, '100 In My Pocket'. This Florida firestarter lands on Lee Foss’ South Of Saturn, and it's nothing short of chunky, irresistible dance floor dynamite. Fresh off his headline tour announcement, Crusoe's making waves faster than you can say "deeper than deep".

Known for blending Latin heat with minimal drums, Jay's caught the ears of tastemakers like John Summit, Cloonee, and Mau P. After dropping bombs on Hood Politics and Materialism, he’s back with a robust club cut that cuts through the fog and rattles warehouse walls.

The track is built on rock-solid kicks, wall-rattling bass, and one of those gritty percussions that twist the crowd into knots. It’s got a dark, moody vocal that's perfect for those East Berlin sweatboxes or a London afters. We’re excited to premiere the lead track from David Lowe’s latest release on Issues. The London-based DJ and producer has been steadily carving out a reputation in the UK underground with his trademark blend of heavy-hitting drums and dark, infectious basslines. His music has already landed on labels like Mindshake, No Bad Fridays, Roush, Muse, DPE, and Techords. Now he returns to Issues with a cut designed for the floor.

'Shake' is as direct as it comes. Punchy percussion drives the rhythm while a relentless bassline keeps the tension high. It’s a track made for peak-time sessions, stripped back yet full of character, with the kind of energy that cuts through any system.

The release also features 'Max Effort', another dark and functional roller that leans on crisp drum programming and an unrelenting groove. Both tracks show Lowe’s focus on no-nonsense minimal tech with maximum dancefloor impact.

Having first appeared on Issues in 2023 with 'Like This', Lowe is back with a sound that feels sharper and more assured. With early support from selectors already building, this release looks set to underline his rise as one of the UK’s most promising underground names.

Damian Lazarus has been a true wizard of the underground, conjuring club anthems that cut through the fog with hypnotic energy. With "Magickal Remixed (Part I)," he's opened a portal into a whole new dimension. This release is the first part of a two-part remix series dropping via Crosstown Rebels, and it's got the heat to get any London afters jumping.

Detroit original Kyle Hall offers up this week’s mix, and rather than piece together the deep techno set you might expect, Hall has taken a trip into the unknown. An all-vinyl blend, the mix shifts slowly from ambience into searing noise without missing a beat, and while it might be missing the 4/4 chug some might be pining for, it certainly doesn’t cry out for it. Instead it feels more like a transmission from another planet: distorted, distant and fascinating.

Chris Coco is a been there done it all kind of guy. Since kicking off his career in the early days of acid house, the London-based DJ has released albums via the likes of Warp and Distinctive, and his contributions to music extend to radio hosting, label ownership and journalism too.

Hi latest album, How To Disappear Completely dropped earlier this month via Disappear and tells the tale of Coco's travels around the globe, offering a serene blend of sun-kissed ambience and laid-back beats. The record oozes lazy Sunday listening vibes, which is precisely why we knew Coco would be perfect for our Chilled Transmission series.
