After “Tomala” alongside Andruss, Italian producer Draxx returns to elrow Music with his first solo EP, two tracks made strictly for the dancefloor. The opener, “La Cocina,” produced together with Davide T, is a raw, percussive tech-house workout driven by an infectious Spanish vocal. On the flip, “One of a Kind,” with Dave Delly, fuses minimal precision with tech-fueled power for another late-night weapon. A statement release from an artist clearly finding his own lane on the global scene.

The tenth edition of the microcastle podcast welcomes label artist MUUI back for his second showcase. The Berlin based producer is coming off his second project for us entitled 'Seminal'. Released in February, the four track EP featured another diverse selection of music, earning support from John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo,  Guy J, Sasha, Nick Warren, Guy Mantzur, Agents of Time, Third Son, Stephan Bodzin, Gardens of God and many more. 

For the tenth edition of our podcast we've chosen a live show of MUUI's from a recent gig at S.A.S.H in Sydney, Australia. Comprised of all his own originals, showcased are six brand new, unheard tracks along with live / alternate versions of his Bengal remix, 'Placid', 'Hide Seek', 'Clouds', 'Touch', 'Taet' and ending  in gorgeous fashion with 'Vrijeme'. This weeks podcast comes from the man and the concept behind the moniker DoubtingThomas and the London based producer has delivered a trademark set; slightly off kilter, authentic with an unmistakable rawness and honesty that permeates his entire sound. 

Interestingly named DoubtingThomas, we had no doubts about pulling in him for this weeks transmission as a producer and artist Thomas has been winning over blogs, crowds and music lovers in which format of electronic music he turns his hand to  from working as a sound artist for film, a writer for Universal or as a member of an electronic fused jazz band, one thing is very clear, music is in his blood.

 This is even more evident in live performances, dealing in tech house with deep, minimal, jazz and broken beats influences for sets difficult to catergorize as anything other than cool. With the curation of subtle grooves and jacking rhythms, he's so far released on Soul Jazz Records, LessIzm:r, Mean and Safari Electronique. Perfect for that sunny afternoon…
