This week´s AMFM is the seventh and last hour of a 7 h set that I played in a very special location. The club is called Distillery and is in Leipzig Germany. It is the longest running club that I have played at in my DJ career. My first gig there was part of the Harthouse 100 Tour in September 1996. The club has an upstairs floor and a downstairs basement floor. The basement is the smaller of both floors and that was the one I got to play in 1996. Since the club now goes into its final year, I wanted to once more play in the basement, so I did an all night long set on May 25th 2022. I started at midnight and ended shortly after 7 in the morning, playing quite a few classics as well. Sadly, due to a technical issue, I didn't manage to save a tracklist, so I appreciate any help that I can get with that in the comments from all of you! (Well I know what I played, it is just quite a lot of work to reconstruct that...) I hope you enjoy this whole set, it was very special to me and quite emotional at times, as I had loads of great memories popping up during my time down there, from all the amazing times that I got to have in this fantastic venue over the years. A big thanks goes out to the whole crew of the club, especially to Steffen, who has been running this place passionately since the beginning and is currently preparing the move into a new location by January 2023. Once more this is a reminder, how important the club scene is for our music and that we all should always support our local clubs. In the end they are the foundation for the music, for the resident DJs and for the crowd that enjoys a good time together. We would be nowhere without those kind of clubs run by passionate people for so many years. Long live Distillery Leipzig!

2015 was a big year for Jess Bays playing We are FSTVL and heap of gigs in Ibiza and an Award for Best Ibiza Newcomer DJ Runner Up. Offering the crowd a blend of uplifting vocals and tough tech beats, she has quickly become a recognised name on the circuit. Not afraid to take the crowd on a journey Jess digs deep in to the archives and sets the floor alight with a mix of sounds from 70's disco, 80's groove, 90's garage through to pioneering beats.

Jess heads up A & R for hot new label D-Vine Sounds which is owned by Sam Divine, along with a guest mix on the world famous Rinse FM to name but a few achievements.  She is a regular at Ministry Of Sound, EGG, Lightbox & Fire and has also played a number of times at the infamous Studio 338 to a full capacity terrace.  Jess is crafting her way to be hot property on the global party scene, she brings energy and education to her crowd, with remixes and edits that are show stopping. Jess has supported some of the biggest names in the industry, among the likes of Richy Ahmed, Sam Divine, Lee Foss, Claude Von Stroke, Justin Martin, Hannah Wants, Sonny Fodera, Cristoph, Saytek Live to name just a few! Just recently she has headlined SIN in Dublin & an upcoming party in Dominican Republic.

When Enrico Sangiuliano looks back on his life in years to come, we imagine he'll think of 2015 as the year he made it. That's not to say the Italian wasn't around before that - he's been spinning at his nation's biggest illegal raves since 2003, and has built up expertise as a producer and sound designer too, landing releases on Drumcode, Truesoul and many more.

However, it was one fateful release last year that really catapulted him to stardom. Dropping in August, Enrico's remix of DJ Boris' 'Can You Hear Me' carved his name into the record books, claiming the longest ever running #1 in the Beatport Techno chart at 14 weeks! Enrico also claimed the highest selling Beatport Techno track for 2015 and the longest time in the global top 10 in the best of Beatport chart, all of which earned him the #8 spot on best selling techno artists of 2015!

Quite the list of achievements then, and we're not the only ones who think so. Enrico has garnered support from across the techno community, with the likes of Sven Väth, Adam Beyer, Alan Fitzpatrick, Pan-Pot and Stephan Bodzin all singing his praises. Momentum like Enrico's doesn't come around everyday, so you can bet the Italian will fully capitalise on his success and make 2016 his own too, kicking off with his Data Transmission Podcast.

Where has the time gone? It seems like only yesterday we were prepping our inaugural podcast from Ed Banger founder Busy P for your listening delights and here we are today at edition number 500! (Insert cheering and whole load of whooping!)

We’ve had some great guests since launching the series back in 2009 but today we’ve got a mix that is up there with the very best of them with a special 4 hour mix, that's a massive 64 tracks from one of the founding members of Drum & Bass, a pioneering DJ and 'Mercury Prize' winning producer... Mr Roni Size.  \

2015 was a huge year for Roni Size and Reprazent, with headline slots at some of the biggest festival across the UK and Europe, it proved there is still the desire to see the original live band in Drum and Bass doing what they do best. 2016 saw original junglists, Roni Size and DJ Krust relaunched their seminal label, Full Cycle Records earlier this year.  Full Cycle Records was born in 1994 (previously known as Roni and Krust’s Full Circle Records), and quickly became one of the most important jungle – and then drum & bass – labels of the early ‘90’s. The Bristol-based label issued now classic releases from the likes of Size, Krust, Die, Suv, D Product, Flynn & Flora, and beyond, before closing in 2009.
