Where North meets South....UK based DJ & production duo James Callaghan & Jason Hodges collectively known as Lost On Mars join the Saved Records family this summer with their brand new, 'Perkers' EP. When you combine the energy these two have along with their talent behind the decks expect nothing less than a riot on the dancefloor. On the production side of things, this dynamic duo combine elements of Tech House, Deep Tech, Breakbeat, Rave & Techno with a groove laden sound that showcases big basslines and layers upon layers of percussion. Since their debut on the scene back in 2020 the guys have had some exciting releases on the likes of Sola, dt weapons, Observatory Music and more. A staple in label boss Nic Fanciulli's DJ sets, the 'Perkers' EP wastes no time in getting down to business! The duo's immaculate production shines through with rolling basslines, chunky drums, intoxicating vocals, trippy synths and crisp percussion coming into play throughout, ensuring that no matter where this EP is dropped, the results will be explosive.

Firing off the back of the debut Data Transmission release from Archie B comes West Coast producer Ed Hoffman with a two track EP titled 'Good Time' on 29th June.

Ed Hoffman has been playing music since he was 10, but found his passion with dance music while in college. Ed traveled the globe for many years after going to countless festivals & clubs leading him to his broad style of house & techno he creates today. He is always smiling and embracing all things weird. Ed brings this energy into every mix, set, and song that he writes. When he's not writing music, you can find him biking or making sure his disco birds get fed.

On the two tracks EP comes 'Good Time' where he teams up with KOOP and the low slung club melter 'Sunday Morning Acid', he chats about both tracks.

Good Time - Towards the end of 2020, I had decided to move from California to Pennsylvania, to get a change of scenery and move in with Koop. We were stuck inside most of the time during the first winter of the pandemic with not much else to do besides create music. We were inspired to put together a fun summertime track, for a time when we could start celebrating with all of our friends and family again.

Sunday Morning Acid - The original idea of the track came together in early 2021, on a cold winter morning. I was up early, dreaming of warmer weather and playing with my Roland tb-3, when the track's base started to come together. The inspiration for the track came from some of the incredible '90s acid & breakbeat house tracks, and it's felt throughout the song.

Following on from the excellent support gained from his competition winning track 'The Kick Test' which was championed by Darius Syrossian, EMEXL delivers this two track monster release in 'On The Dancefloor' which is released 27th July.

The lead track 'On The Dancefloor' intertwines a catchy vocal and melodic driving beats along with some classic organ vibes providing a nod to some of the best loved House classics.

'The Wibbler' is a fun and fresh dance floor vibe that delivers a thumping beat to perfectly compliment the arp synth led hook.

EMEXL - On The Dance Floor [Data Transmission]

Next up this July on Nothing Else Matters is Dutch DJ and producer, Simon Kidzoo, who makes his debut on the label with his brand new 'CDWU' EP. Having grown up with a love of House music, Simon Kidzoo has spent the last few years honing his sound and experimenting with different styles and genres. Releasing on respected labels in the industry including Toolroom, Saved, NONSTOP, Kittball, South Of Saturn, Etiquette and Club Sweat, his tracks have also been supported by key tastemakers in the scene including Green Velvet, The Martinez Brothers, Mark Knight, CamelPhat, Marco Carola, Hannah Wants, Joris Voorn, Eats Everything and many more. The 'CDWU' EP is already a firm favourite of label boss Danny Howard's with infamous duo Solardo similarly hammering it out in their recent Ibiza sets too! Emanating Simon's signature style, you can expect tribal influenced drums, deep bass grooves, rattling percussion, mesmerising vocals, tension building synths and hypnotic atmospherics throughout.
