Earlier we giddily reported that following up on their latest success 'Poison Arrow', released through FFRR back in June, Disciples would return with new single 'They Don't Know'. Having already secured its place as Pete Tong's Essential New Tune on his BBC Radio 1 show last weekend, 'They Don't Know' showcases the UK trio's talent for production, combining melodic vocals with a deep house groove. 

Formed of friends Duvall, Luke and Gavin, Disciples is designed to harness each members individual skills. “Gavin has an ear for percussion and beat-driven music, and I have an ear for melody and musical chorus and stuff like that, so the contrast complements each other. And Luke is fantastic with arrangement and is quick on his feet with lyrics,” explains Duvall.

Upon hearing their new release we knew then we needed to nab the trio for our mix of the day series and after they delivered this exclusive mix, we have only been enchanted further by the outfit and now we get share it with you lovely DT readers. On the 17th of October a highly anticipated ADE event is set to break loose in all its glory. Inside the NDSM-Docklands warehouse, DGTL will host Jamie Jones' Paradise. 

One of the honourable guest that night will be UK's Route 94, who has proven over the last few years to be steady as a rock when it comes to making lush grooves and swinging beats. His podcast has aired in collaboration with our new partner 'The Boom Room' (part of popular Dutch radio channel SLAM!FM). In the Boom Room, Deep House Amsterdam will have recurring segments like the 'spotlight track' where we pick our favourite new track of the week (featuring the new Huxley this Saturday) and a bi-weekly mix that we will co-host with them. The next mix will be aired LIVE from the Mini Cooper Store at Leidseplein on Saturday the 18th during ADE.

Our latest addition in the collab with SLAM! FM is an intense set by Jimpster and Gabriel Ananda during ADE 2014. In the Boom Room, Deep House Amsterdam will have recurring segments like the 'spotlight track' where we pick our favourite new track of the week and a bi-weekly mix that we will co-host with them, the latest of which is now online: Sidney Charles. 

Jamie Odell, aka Jimpster, has been producing, remixing and DJing for the last 20 years and co-running esteemed UK deep house label Freerange Records (voted Best British Label 2007 in DJ Mag) for the last 17 of them. Gabriel Ananda is known for breaking hearing-habbits, using well dosed deep structured sounds. Connoisseurs of the uncommon enjoy his straight and fiddly cool beats, ranging from techno to house and everything in between. But definitions really become useless when Techno, House and Dub merge together like in Gabriel Anandas productions.
