An artist whose groove-led sound has seen him embedded as a favourite within the global house scene for the past decade, wAFF is a name that needs little introduction. Having previously landed on the label at the end of 2019 with a trio of high-energy cuts across his bumping 'Panwa' EP, the UK mainstay makes a long-awaited return to Solid Grooves to open September as he steps up to unveil his latest single, 'Breevin'.

Merging bubbling acid-dipped basslines with slinking drums, warped vocal hooks, and sweeping chords that flow effortlessly around playful grooves, 'Breevin' is a guaranteed dancefloor mover as both artist and label once again serve up the goods.

Papa Marlin has been capturing attention across recent years with a combination of lush grooves and punchy percussion, earning support from artists ranging from Claptone to Solardo and Gorgon City, alongside airplay on BBC Radio 1. Following last year’s Beatport-charting collaboration ‘Supa Fly’ with Bondar on Hot Creations, as well as notable releases on South Of Saturn, Toolroom, and Relief, the Ukranian DJ/producer now steps up solo to Jamie Jones’ imprint with two bass-driven cuts in ‘Move Your Feet’. 

“Now, in these dark times of our country, I am inspired by simple, bright things: my daughter, good weather, at least a little good news. Of course, music. I always try to listen to a lot of different music, as I believe it’s something  always need—especially when my tracks are noticed and believed in. When my music has such support. The title track ‘Move Your Feet’, comes strong with sleazy house swings and vibrant trumpets, while crisp percussion keeps things firmly grounded. ‘Bass You Like’ follows, where spacious pads and rumbling bass charge forward, enveloping you  a world of flickering lights and an irresistible urge to move.

Hailing from Brazil, Marian weaves the rhythms of his home country into every track. With releases on Hot Creations, CUFF, and Deeperfect, plus his standout seven-track EP ‘Marian Moods’ on Mood Child—backed by Joseph Capriati and Marco Carola—his momentum keeps building. After appearing on Hottrax’s ‘Jams Vol. 1’ alongside Yolanda Be Cool and Fast Eddie, he now steps up for a solo return and delivers three dynamic cuts mixing old-school vibes with new-school energy. 

“This EP was really inspired by Jamie Jones’ sets—the music he plays, the energy he creates, and the tracks I love to listen to and play myself. It’s a fusion of old-school and new-school, blending a lot of styles mixed in these three tracks with a powerful bassline in all of them and a touch of Latin sauce.” - Marian. 

Up first is ‘Hands Up’, a slinky house mood with punchy beats and warping rhythms vibrating through its core. ‘No Paramo’ follows, injecting a playful funk with rolling percussion and crisp bongo accents, nodding to his Brazilian heritage. Closing out, ‘Keep On’ strips things back to a refined, understated groove, balancing deep bass tones with smooth, effortless movement.
