Tech Avenue Records proudly puts forth this primo Colombian duo SONO (COL) and Jonathan Jaramillo. The “Black Mamba" EP delves into deep infectious rhythms and powerful bass lines that will absolutely light up the dance floor. The unique sound of these talented Colombian producers’ mimics that of Afro House inspired by tropical characteristics and flavor. This EP includes two original mixes by SONO (COL), and a remix of the titled track by Jonathan Jaramillo, who's no stranger to the label and comes off his recent Tech Avenue release titled "Fake Fake" EP. SONO (COL) is well versed in the Tech House sound, with major releases on Clover, Monkey Stereo, and others. We proudly welcome both artists on the label for the "Black Mamba" EP for the 81st Tech Avenue release.

Fresh off his Paradise debut with ‘Way U Move’ alongside Jamie G, Manchester’s Goosey steps up solo on Jamie Jones’ Hot Creations with ‘Funky Shit’ featuring Dope Earth Alien—two hot House cuts dropping 28th March. The EP’s title track ‘Funky Shit’ has already been causing a stir in Jones’ sets from Music On Festival (Amsterdam) to Creamfields (UK), with wobbly sub-bass pulses and Dope Earth Alien’s catchy vocals, sweeping you into a full-body groove. On the flip side, ‘To The Bass’ rolls in with Goosey’s bouncy rhythms, layering warped frequencies for a punch of pure energy. 

“I grew up listening to Hot Creations, so releasing an EP on the label is a dream come true and something I’ve worked towards from the start. Jamie’s heavy support of both tracks last year makes this release even more special, and I’m beyond grateful and excited to share them on such an iconic label.“ - Goosey 

Only three months into 2025, Goosey has already released on the likes of Deeperfect, Kaluki Musik, and Moan, while his schedule fills up with gigs at WHP for Kaluki, b2b sets with Jean Pierre at Secret Sessions Ibiza, and a confirmed spot on Paradise’s lineup at Creamfields. Consistently earning major props from Michael Bibi, Pawsa, and Marco Carola, and with Jamie Jones firmly backing him, there’s no doubt Goosey’s momentum is only picking up speed.

Piero Pirupa, Lioneel - Nasty [NONSTOP]

Amine Edge is a DJ with a keen nose for a killer tune. As a producer, he's delivered classics; as a label owner (with CUFF), he's been supplying DJs with cooking content since 2014. One of his latest discoveries is TAD, a Parisian producer. This year's CUFF release, "Places", is a superb slice of tech house with a bouncy bassline and clever hooks. Despite his relative anonymity within the DJ community, it went straight onto the playlists of Jen Payne and Kevin McKay. Kevin then contacted him for a GU release, and "Be Mine" resulted. Road-tested at Kevin's recent Fire show, this mix of razor-sharp rhythms and bubbling bass smashed the floor at London's premier 6 am party zone. It's a banger.
