Korean-born, New Zealand-based producer La Felix unveils his latest musical endeavor with the release of the electrifying Bassline Jump EP. Known for his vibrant fusion of nu-disco, funk, and house music, La Felix continues to push boundaries with tracks that are both timeless and irresistibly danceable.

Inspired by the legendary Prince, La Felix brings a fresh twist to classic disco elements in his new EP. “For HOT,” La Felix shares, “I was inspired by Prince-esque guitars played super high up on the fret, with a super tight staccato rhythm. Once I had the rhythm down, I knew I wanted the track to revolve around the theme of something ‘HOT’.”

The EP features a dynamic lineup of tracks including Do It Like That. Each track showcases La Felix’s knack for crafting infectious grooves with a contemporary edge, while honouring the golden era of disco and funk.

The newest member of Roush adds our imprint to his great back catalogue, where we can find top labels such as Nervous, Snatch or Green Velvet's infamous Cajual. During the years he has polished his sound palette combining effective beats with strong basslines with the right purpose of making people dance. This formula is felt on title cut 'Highly Addictive' where SYAP combines tech house beats with a rolling sub-bass. An effective percussion effects and vocal chops are added to maintain the peak time vibe. Italian artist Sante Sansone debuts on Hottrax with a stripped-back house two-tracker entitled ‘Quarantine’ this July.

Over the last decade, Sante Sansone has gone from rising talent to an accomplished DJ and producer, whether performing all across Europe, or releasing on labels such as Lapsus Music, La Pera Records and Lost Records. He now joins Jamie Jones’s Hottrax following recent appearances from the likes of Wheats, David Berrie, Onur Ozman and East End Dubs.

All about the groove, ‘Quarantine’ is a tracky house cut with crunchy percussion, squelchy acid licks and indistinguishable vocal murmurs that put you into a trance. In comparison, ‘Fantasia’ is a tougher number with its pounding kicks, rattling hats and bubbling effects.
