Oh, and he runs his own label with none other than Derrick Carter. An unsung hero within electronic music Luke holds the distinction of being revered and respected by his peers. The DJs DJ. The producers producer. With an illustrious career that’s seen him do everything from set up seminal label Classic Recordings with the aforementioned Mr. Carter to taking quirky house to the UK Top 10 and international charts with his band Freaks, Luke has been there for many of the more interesting 4/4 related moments of the last decade.

Now stepping up to apply his magic touch for Strictly Jacked – the new compilation from seminal house imprint Strictly Rhythm – Luke has been busy compiling a set of hidden rarities and contemporary cuts from some of the scenes most influential labels with tracks from Cuttin’ Headz, Robsoul, Heist and of course Strictly rubbing shoulders with brand new remixes from Solomon himself as he seeks to encapsulate that jackin’ house sound Chicago brought to the world.

Set to arrive at the end of the month we just can’t wait to hear the new compilation in full and so set about securing you a sneak preview of what’s to come with the premiere of Luke’s Body Edit of Marlon D’s Jesus Creates Sound.

Since then, Rae has gone on to work with some of the biggest names on the scene from ATFC, DJ SKT, David Penn, Doorly, Danism + Train, Just Us & Eddy, Monki, The Deepshakerz, Gene Farris, and many more, as well as releasing her own solo productions to great acclaim. With a strong release schedule closing out 2020 with tracks forthcoming on Quantize Recordings, Club Sweat and Let There Be House, Rae is also working on her highly anticipated debut artist album. With global tour dates, DJ Rae has headlined festivals and key dance events, and also toured with the hugely successful Hacienda Classical, performing on iconic stages such as Pyramid stage at Glastonbury and Royal Albert Hall, London, all whilst continuing to build her fan base on home turf with a weekly radio show on London's House FM.'
