Next up on Kaluki this summer, we welcome back label favourite, Latmun, who returns to the family with his brand new, 'Disco B' EP. Through his own interpretation of the House and Tech House soundscape, both in his DJ sets and his own productions, Latmun brings an infectious groove to the dancefloor that captivates crowds across the globe. With a busy worldwide touring schedule and regular appearances in acclaimed venues, Latmun's shows and releases are widely praised and hugely supported across the Tech House community. His music has found homes on some of the most respected labels including VIVa, Hot Creations, Repopulate Mars, elrow, Snatch! and Sola, resulting in a huge fanbase worldwide. The 'Disco B' EP is synonymous with Latmun's unique, intricate sound; radiating high levels of energy with hypnotic vocal cuts, stomping, raw drums, commanding basslines, bubbling percussion and a grooving low-end, resulting in two killer tracks that were made for the dancefloor.

Napoli’s nicest Dj Dep applies the personal touch with his welcome return to the Clarisse control room. Master of the ‘Dirty Synth’ and happy to get ‘Loose and Casual’, Luigi de Palma has left his fingerprints all over turntables across the globe, his sound dug by Carl Cox, Nic Fanciulli, Marco Carola, Pete Tong, Matthias Tanzmann and Joseph Capriati. Labels-wise, Circus, Elrow, Deeperfect and Defected are a five-star sample section of those benefitting from the patent brand of Dep dexterity.

‘Touch Me’ takes on a classic rough against smooth formula. At the top end, free-spirited female vocals, restless with a risqué edge, look for skin-on-skin contact, surrounded by spectral, glitchy shimmers and a percolator of a rhythm. All of a bit of a headswim in isolation, whereas lower down, Dep’s spicy bassline, swelling, heaving and withdrawing like clockwork, duels with beats bursting with clout to let you know you’re in a dancefloor battle.

Reactivating the track with his usual fluid style, Mendo comes to the party with fizzy percussion click-clacking its way to the top, and continues to make the vocals dart and wink in and out of the mix so the club is completely under the temptress’ spell to the point of orgasm. Guaranteed to get everyone loose with its bobbing and bouncing bass, Mendo softens the edges of the original while keeping the temperature topped up, and puts Dep’s shivery samples through their paces like an icy blast on top. A pair of dancefloors movers Midas would’ve been proud of.

Rising Argentine talent Grees makes his debut on NoZzo Music with an impressive three-track offering featuring a remix from Martin Occo on 'My Tennis Shoes'.

Rosario based DJ/Producer Grees is making strides within the world of Tech House, and we are delighted to welcome him to the label for the first time with two striking dancefloor heaters. Grees is also joined by European Tech talent Martin Occo for a standout remix on the title track.

'My Tennis Shoes' kicks off the EP with a firm hand. Deep and rolling grooves built from weighty kicks and endless percussion create a rippling momentum throughout the track whilst subtle melodies continue to rise amongst twisted vocal chops in the background.

Martin Occo follows the title track with a signature spin of his own. Upbeat driving Tech drums and fizzing hat sequences marry up with pulsating sub-bass as an array of shots and fills add more character. Climactic builds and piercing drops break up a record that will have you dancing from end to end.

'Khia's Bedroom' brings the release to a close, cutting a more stripped back and underground line. Another heavyset roller, its prominent low-frequency rumble paves the way for a shuffling concoction of instruments to add movement to the mix. Its fine layer of melodic eeriness blends in and out of a catchy vocal hook throughout, whilst the main bulk of the record comes at you thick and fast.

A rising South American talent, Alonso Bierg is beginning to make a name for himself through releases on underground imprints globally. He marks his first release on Black Seven Music with two signature label-focused dancefloor jams - loaded with rhythm and quality. 

‘Move Back’ opens the release with an undulating bed of drums and percussive flair whilst endless layers of instrumental movement carry the track forward as it rides a catchy sub bassline. A catchy hip-hop style vocal lends itself to the transitional segments of the record, which build into a powerful climax with weighty drops to keep you on your feet. 

‘Turn On’ completes the release, bringing more percussive-driven cadence and terrace vibes. A thick combo of kicks and low-frequency rumble gets things moving whilst a captivating vocal continues to rise. A track built around energetic grooves and energy-shifting sequences, it showcases plenty of Alonso’s profound production talent.
