The Adam Ten & Solomun-inspired rise in left-field dance music has filled the “Indie Dance” DJ charts with an influx of new producers. KEYTARBI is one of these rising stars that has caught our ears, her “Quito” cut delivering the kind of uptempo chug we want in a left-field set. The wonderfully oddball “Pancakes” is her debut for us. Featuring the spoken tones of legendary house vocalist Robert Owens. “It ain’t over,” he tells us, “until Bertha calls you into the kitchen, for some of her delicious pancakes.” We have no idea what he’s on about either, but with a groove this good, who needs anything to make sense? It’s just a banger!

We’ve been watching Valdovinos since he dropped the epic “November” on All Day I Dream back in 2018. Since then, he’s consistently delivered the kind of slow-burning gems that we are looking for when building a beautiful mood in the club. His recent organic heater, “Bacab” on Sounds Of Khemit got us excited to see if he would deliver some delicious deepness for us. And, listening to his debut single, “Hang Out”, he totally has. Al Matthews aka Bleaching Agent is the techno nomad with no home.

His releases have appeared on a myriad of labels including Opal Tapes, Perc Trax and Mira just to name a few. His production keeps in line with his namesake: abrasive, corrosive, chemical warfare with a sprinkle of groove. You may even be familiar with his side projects as Uretran, Blacknecks, Retail & Leisure, Forward Strategy Group  which share the gritty funk the Agent is loved for.  In this mix we see Mr Matthews take us through a variety of genres and intensities with an enviable absence of difficulty.
