Label founder and Zurich resident Dimitri ‚Definition‘ Schnider presents his debut EP, Resurrection EP, saving his best work for his own imprint. Four stunning original works, including a collaboration with the lovely Cari Golden, Definition lives up to the imprints standards with plenty of groove to spare.

Opening the EP is ‘Product of My Environment’, a collaboration with Cari Golden and a very steamy track thanks to it beautiful melodic breakdowns and constantly rising pressure.
Taking things further, ‘Periodic’ operates on a slow burning groove with rising arps and thick round kicks peppered with hats and rim-shots to bring even more energy to an already powerful late night soundtrack.
‘Fear’ opens the gates with a waterfall of chords before bringing the percussion in, setting the tone for the track. Deep rhythmic bass lines and 8-bit nuances lead the track deeper, with the percussion keeping the energy on high the entire flight.

Lastly, ‘Troublemaker’ hits us with warm sequences and sinister pads throughout and lives up to its name. The track is a beast in every sense of the word, rolling along through the night and waiting for unsuspecting club-goers to succumb to its deep and heavy groove.

UK duo PAX return to Kittball Records with their 3-track Illusion EP on February 23rd. 

The Leicester producers previously appeared on the label's Kittball Konspiracy Vol.10, and have already racked up music on Great Stuff Recordings, Toolroom and Clarisse Records.

Our Debut Transmission - title-track, 'Illusion' - is a silky smooth slice of house, complete with floaty vocals (which also adorn the rest of the EP) and more than it's fair share of sub bass.

By convention, sweet is sweet, bitter is bitter, hot is hot, cold is cold, colour is colour; but in truth there are only atoms and the void. So it goes.

Chapter 24's fourteenth chapter sees label co-founders Sam Pauli & Paul Nolan continue their collaboration with Atoms. Witness the reaction that occurs when these two electrifying artists enter the same creative orbit. Joining them on this release are talents Miyagi and Danny Oliveira, for a stellar body of material.

Pauli and Nolan are at their best on Atoms, delivering a wonderful piece of electronic music. The Instrumental Edition is all glistening arpeggios and cosmic pads; whilst these fuse with the soaring vocals of fellow Chapter 24 artist Reiver on the Original.

The nature of atoms lies far below our powers of observation. Since atoms cannot be seen, their movements, too, escape us. As atoms travel through the void, they swerve from their course. Were it not so, they would remain forever isolated, and never meet to form the complexity of the universe. 

There are only atoms and the void. So it goes. 

But hold a mirror up to the void and you will discover that it is by no means empty nothingness. It contains particles of light which flicker in and out of existence.

Beyond the atoms, there is hope...

Hal Incandenza is Henry Saiz’s alias for his disco-house and experimental pop side, which he uses to experiment with absolute creative freedom. The name was inspired by David Foster Wallace and his book ´Infinite Jest´, and is an outlet for all things cosmic, euphoric, Balearic and sometimes even with a touch of cheese.
 
It's no secret Hal has a special love and appreciation to those they call 'mainstream' songs; he's a music lover, open to experiments. ‘Touch It’ evoked certain emotions in him, so he couldn’t resist remixing it.
 
Hal Incandenza is all about a musical world with no prejudices, unpacking stereotypes and bias, not paying attention to the trends and opinions of others; and let’s face it, something that we really need in today’s world.
