Crafted amidst the crisp air of Denver, Colorado, 'Lessons' emerged from the creative fusion of Denney and House hero, Hipp-E. Having jumped into the studio, the pair effortlessly locked in an ice-cold groove before their imaginations soared to warmer climates. Which of course, beckoned the saxophone.

A quintessential soundtrack for the summer season, 'Lessons' encapsulates the spirit of House, with its deep, groovy essence never reaching a peak, but instead delivering nostalgic '90s vibes with a modern '24 flair. True to form, a Hipp-E release wouldn't be complete without a touch of acid. 'Lessons' takes a dip and trip, stripping down to its core elements of percussion, strings, and smooth Rhodes piano to create a fresh bubbling take on the original.

Denney & Hipp-E - Lessons

Montreal's Mitch Oliver appeared on our radar earlier this year with the mesmerising house cut "Control Z", recorded with viral music sensation Might Delete Later. "Tell Me What You Want" continues his impressive run of form with a looping techy groove topped with a hooky-as-hell vocal. Mitch's musical chops are evident in this richly hypnotic jam, and we love the musicality this track brings to the current tech house scene. Mitch has been testing this one for a while at his parties in Canada, and if you've seen any of the reaction videos online, you'll know how tasty it is.

A duo that need little to no introduction, Leeds grown record label owners and producers behind some of the biggest House records of the last two decades, Audiojack, join the Nothing Else Matters firm this summer, teaming up with US singer-songwriter, Cari Golden for their brand new single, ‘A Little Change’.

The track was born out of a mutual desire to support people suffering from homelessness in LA. When Doc Martin invited Audiojack to play at his Sublevel party in an old church next to Skid Row in Los Angeles 13 years, the duo were shocked and saddened to see the scale of homelessness in the area and vowed one day to do something to help bring change. Fast-forward to March 2023 when they learnt that Cari had graduated from culinary college during Covid and was cooking and serving meals to the residents of Skid Row in downtown LA every week.

They soon began collaborating on a track to inspire and remind people that as well as the person you’re helping, benevolence makes you feel good too, and they’ve worked together on ‘A Little Change’ over the last year with the purpose to raise money to help tackle homelessness with proceeds of the record being donated to the Lov Kitchen project.
