Fully charged like most of Quenum’s rich, chugging techno output, Express Yourself is a late night, eyes closed, full body journey through piano, percussion and pounding bass – woven with his occasional trademark chord stab and random vocal snippet to keep you on your toes. At 120 BPM, the track sits at ease on both the dancefloor and the long mix. This is a corker of a first new tune from Pacific after 20 years radio silence.

His new release "Last Night EP" is infused with the Italian house wave of the 90's, characterized by dreamy melodies with a fresh breeze, a slight sense of groove and advanced and melodic arrangements, the release is maximally executed in his own style, which is already recognizable as the signature of the producer himself.

We’re not sure what they’re putting in the water over in Israel at the minute but it seems the middle eastern nation appears to be enjoying a wave of great electronic music at the moment from a new generation of talent from the country. From big names like Guy Gerber and Shlomi Aber to up and comers like Dor Levi and Omer Grinker it appears the state of Israel is one to watch for fresh new dance music. One of the latest act to emerge from the region is Tel Aviv duo Deep'a & Biri first came to our attention when making their full studio debut on DJ Hell’s International DeeJay Gigolo Records. Entitled ‘Emotions Visions Changes’ really impressed us at Data Transmission and firmly marked them out as ones to watch when it arrived last September.

With a smattering of EP’s and an album already to the name and praise ringing in their ears from champions such as Derrick May and DJ Hell, the anticipation for new content from the pairing has been building with each release.  That’s why we’re delighted to share news with you that Deep'a & Biri will be serving up the sophomore release for Blackhall & Bookless’ Jaunt Recordings and we’ve secured one of the EP’s new cuts for exclusive premiere. Psychedelic and otherworldly in equal measure the duo’s Basement Cuts EP is sure to keeps dance floors both interested and entertained when it lands this December whilst serving as a bold statement of intent from both Jaunt and Deep’a & Biri for 2015. Secretsundaze 18th transmission comes with love from Bristol based artist and newcomer Shanti Celeste. With just a few releases under her belt on the likes of Julio Bashmore's Broadwalk, her own label BRSTL and Idle Hands (the infamous Bristol shop where she also man's the counter a few days a week) she has been quick to impress. She played secretsundaze earlier in 2015 and will play our birthday party in just a few weeks and is a fine DJ with great selection and skills. She recently played back to back with Julio Bashmore on Boiler Room. Her monthly show on NTS Radio has been building nicely so we thought it only right to invite her to do her first 12' for us. This will also be her first release on a non Bristol based label so a coup for secretsundaze we think.

A.1 'Golden' is a hypnotic, bouncy house groove that doesn't stick the regular 90's house template with some great synth action and manages to be both wistful and and bumpin at the same time. 'Nu4him' is a stunning, moody track with lush chords and Shanti's own vocal refrains. 'Golden dub' breaks it down for a more experimental techno excursion eschewing some of the melodic flourishes of its counterpart with heavy kick, 808's and some detroity vibes. Final cut 'Sun' starts off all ambient and atmospheric later picking up the pace with some more stomping electro influences.

secretsundaze has been on a great run of late with Endian's 'Finish Me' featured on the likes on Joy Orbison and Scuba's Radio 1's Essential mixes and 'SS1' on Nick Hoppner's well received Resident Advisor Podcast. Shanti Celeste one of 2015's breakthrough artists continues in that veign with 'Alma.'

A Southampton native, Rhymos runs the Whistleblower imprint alongside fellow South Coaster's Alan Fitzpatrick and Reset Robot, and has developed an eclectic sound residing in the shadowy depths between techno and house.
