Title cut ‘Neon Tokyo’ sees the Maltese DJ/producer bring colourful energy from the get-go, with tantalising build-ups leading towards a reveal of catchy yet hypnotic vocoder vox halfway through the track. Following on is ‘Juggernaut Sound’, which combines orchestral hits and glitched out FX to create a pumping, no-holds-barred house bomb. Closing track ‘Rona Lisa’ put wonky bass and stiff percussion through a series of constantly evolving sections and unruly, exciting arrangements for an unexpected yet welcomed journey. A testament to the A&R prowess of Topping, ‘Neon Tokyo EP’ marks a notable release from a new talent on the scene.

The true techno dream team of Dubfire & Oliver Huntemann revisit their Elements project from a few years ago with a new series of killer remixes. Terra - originally released in 2011, did all sorts of damage to dance-floors across the globe. Now, it’s all set to do it again thanks to this Joseph Capriati Remix. The Italian techno headliner has grown into a major force on the scene in recent years, and here delivers a signature slice of muscular, driving techno - taut, dramatic and devastating. Paired with a remix of the now seminal Feugo Julien Jeweil’s remix also hits the spot - the track received a 2016 overhaul with some of Jeweil’s signature flair. The Frenchman has been a constant figure on the top of various charts and line ups for some time, and its easy to see why - Fuego is stripped back machine funk primed for big systems and even bigger moments.

Hot Creations are launching a new ‘Paradise on Earth’ DJ Mix series with the first instalment coming as a Mexico special from Paradise residents and label regulars Nathan Barato and Patrick Topping. Each mix is expertly crafted, fusing musical influences with exclusive new material alongside current favourites for your listening pleasure.

The first CD comes from Toronto-based DJ & producer Nathan Barato, an artist that has been on the rapid rise with releases on Cajual, MOOD, Relief, Saved, Circus Records, Defected and of course Hot Creations. Barato’s mix kickstarts with the sonorous opening of Derrick Carter’s ‘Where You at?’ soon venturing into big dancefloor movers like Moritz Piske ‘Dirt Cabana’ and Makam’s ‘Loletta’. Nathan explains, "This is the first compilation I've done, so I was nervous and excited when building the tracklist. I wasn't inclined to make a mix that was only bombs ...I wanted to express myself and show a different side of my sound.”

UK talent Patrick Topping has cemented his status as one of the most in demand names in dance music and this year completing his third summer as resident at DC10 in Ibiza for Paradise. Here Patrick showcases the sound and style of his sets with hi-energy from the word go. “This was my first time putting together a licensed mix and it was such a fun project. Most the tracks are older but I was also luckily enough to include some of my favourite unreleased tracks of the moment. Thanks to Oli Furness, Jack N Jerk, Sean Miller & Elliot Adamson for letting me use these. There are also 3 brand new productions of mine in here.” - Patrick Topping

Since label head and visionary Jamie Jones began his Paradise night at DC10 in Ibiza five years ago, the night has gone on to be by far one of the biggest on the island, inviting the biggest names in the business to come play alongside his solid crew of talented friends and residents. Following up his recent Lucky EP on Moon Harbour and hot single ‘Push It Up’ on Kaluki, UK producer Eli Brown has delivered his 3-track EP, titled ‘Another Dimension’, on Solardo’s SOLA label.

Set to drop on 25th January, the EP showcases Eli Brown’s rugged beats through title-track ‘Another Dimension’ and the sinister sounds of ‘Low End Theory’. With the driven grooves of ‘Hopelessly Addicted’ rounding off the release, the production follows the success of Eli Brown’s Lee Foss collaboration ‘Freak You Right’ - which was widely supported on BBC Radio 1 by the likes of Danny Howard.
