Ki Creighton & Makanan's “Drop Out” EP on Underground Audio delivers masterful talent, containing excerpts from the generations of house, layered over bass movements and kicks worthy of the heavyweight stature. 

This first of this four track EP, “Drop Out” sets the pace for the release. Laced with a vibrant bass and a delicious groove throughout, this track showcases elements of acid, classic vocal samples, and sinister synths alongside. Produced to perfection, this track is best suited to raise the energy in a set. 

“Pusher”, the second track of the EP brings through a very hypnotic appeal within the track. An underlying industrial groove is complimented by pulsating bass rhythms throughout, with lively percussive sections driving the track forward. Catchy vocal sections placed throughout the track deliver the finishing touches. 

Both tracks are complimented within the EP through excellent remixes of each track. Miguel Lobo and Andrea Butano take “Drop Out” on a more percussive and exotic route, opening the track up for various applications ranging from the poolside to the early hours of the morning. Horatio incorporates “Pusher” with a heavier yet precise bassline, with distinct energy flowing throughout the track that is suited for larger stages.

The big man is back! Stefano Noferini, the man behind the Deeperfect brand, is stepping up to the plate for his first release of 2018. On this EP he is joined by the Florentine newcomer duo, Habits. Together the three collaborators deliver a two track EP of the finest quality club weapons. 
‘Timisoara’ starts off in a manner that is instantly recognisable as a tough cut of Deeperfect’s signature stripped-back tech house. A solid beat is punctuated with sprinkles of tribal percussion and underpinned by a pulsing sub line. Eerie pads and ethnic choirs bring the drama up with quick intensity and create an enveloping atmosphere that brings the track to life. Sweeping FX and an energetic rides help to create intense sections of energy, which are contrasted by moments of serenely deep vibes.
The second and final track, ‘Papizh’, opens with a tight pushing beat that is joined by a rising bass riff that gives a definition to the groove and flow to the composition. Forest soundscapes and swells of synthesis wash across the speakers and offer a level of depth and mystery which helps the energy of the track to rise exponentially. Then, unexpectedly yet with masterful delivery, comes the introduction of an operatic vocal, which pays homage to the rich cultural history of the city of Florence where the three artists reside. 
The ‘Timisoara EP’ is both very unique and exceptionally functional and delivers a extremely original take on modern club music. A must have EP for a huge range of DJ’s and music fans alike.

Long-time German house label Kittball welcome Italian pair The Deepshakerz for two more of their effective dance floor detonators.
This duo of Domy Berardino and Mirco Sonatore are real musical magpies who draw from old school, new school, Chicago, afro, vocal and tech styles to cook up their high impact sounds.
