We’re not sure what it is about the new year that puts us in such an introspective mood but with previous spotlight mixes seeing us travel as far afield as Australia, Berlin via San Francisco and Stockholm we thought we should return to home turf for our opening mix of the series for 2015 with an effort from fast rising Londoner James Sison.

Co-owner and founder of Bade Records we’ve had an eye on James for a while now and thought it was about time you got to know him too. A regular fixture at the events of the similarly criminally underrated Tessellate, James has cultivated a deep, melodic style both in his DJ sets and work in the studio with his inbound ‘Napier Lake’ EP serving as a shining example of why we think he’s destined for big things.
