for a while now, I've been stuck on a creative seesaw trying to balance writing techy club bangers and 'good music that comes from the heart.' to me, this track symbolizes a step in the right direction for my project - a glimpse into what I'm capable of if I consciously dig deeper and write about something that I, alongside countless others, can resonate with. "Worthwhile" is about the fleeting essence of childhood and blissful ignorance that all humans encounter through the onset of adulthood. it's a bit of a happy-sad theme, which I find the track to convey through its ironically sad lyrics and cheerful/hopeful motif. it's not often that I sing over my tunes, but i'm really starting to enjoy this added layer to the creative process and will definitely explore this territory more in the future.
