Adrian Roman debut EP on Metrica label presents us one of his darkest and most melancholical proposals so far. Called "Providence", this release is composed by the Intro and Original Mix of "Providence" itself, another original song named "Young Hearts" and three remixes by the international artists Jepe (Portugal), Colossio (Mexican) and Locati (Spain).

Alongside this tunes, we can find "Providence" Short Film, a videoclip exclusively recorded for the Intro Mix, written and directed by Rubén Valero & Mihail Comanescu and starred by the spanish producer. All in all, the three original productions build up the perfect journey experienced by the spanish artist Adrian Roman, when struggling at the studio in order to open up his feelings through the music. Intro version gives birth this short album as the perfect prelude of what Adrian is trying to express. As the "Providence" Original Mix materialize these feelings into reality, Young Hearts' take us to the dancefloor, giving us the chance to finally liberate ourselves from our thoughts, and start dancing in some kind of ecstasy.

Jepe’s version of "Providence" brings us the most powerfull and killer part of the original, keeping the style and elegance usual throughout the entire career of the portuguese producer.

The second remix of the title track is made by Colossio, full of extravagant rythms and analog sounds that will make you think you can touch the electricity of his music.

To complete the EP, the well known Metrica's artist Locati produced a very energetic and forceful vision of “Young Hearts”, ready to be a dancefloor hit.

An artist making a name for himself on an array of established independent labels, Dave Leck has been a shining light in the progressive house arena with his work for the likes of Emotional Content Recordings, Soundteller Records and Inception. August 2019's "Stardust" EP saw a Particles debut, swiftly followed by "Primal Connection" six months later, including remixes from Andrea Cassino and fellow countrymen, GMJ & Matter. Opening his latest offering, "Radius" is fuelled by a shaker-driven and groove-infused top line. Sumptuously syncopated chords provide instant dancefloor appeal as textured pads supply a relaxed vibe that develops into the breakdown. Picking up the pace once more in the second half, a shimmering arpeggio adds further to a blissful sonic collage. The title track sees "Elevate" continue the shaker driven percussive flair as arpeggiated synth layers and smooth pads create a wonderful sunlit opening. A glorious bassline adds emotion aplenty before a rolling breakbeat provides the perfect rhythmic anchor. Steadily evolving over the 12-minute timeframe, emotive piano motifs emerge and blend into the stripped back breakdown before combining with the other melodic layers to create a stunning and powerful track.

Kamilo Sanclemente requires little in the way of introduction. A talented producer based in Cali, southwest of the Bogotá capital, the Colombian artist has made a name for himself with music on Anjunadeep, JEE Productions and Nick Warren's The Soundgarden. Sanclemente's "Beyond the Future" series has been a notable highlight on Proton Music while 2017's "Revelations" and 2018's "Eva" made their mark on Particles with a combination of original tracks and outstanding remixes. Now returning after March 2021's remix of Izzet with Mauro Aguirre, the Kamilo Sanclemente reworking of "Elevate" is characterised by a thumping four-to-the-floor backdrop. Creating new arpeggiated sequences with melodic themes rooted in Leck's original, familiar piano motifs make their presence heard. A stunning new bass groove adds further while the remix opens up in the second half to create a storming club-friendly banger that entwines new harmonies and melodies with ease, creating a truly special interpretation.

A rapidly growing force, Eric Lune has continued to make waves since a 2018 debut for Sound Avenue. Going on to see his music feature on such esteemed imprints as Juicebox Music, Plattenbank and Flow Music, September 2020's "North to South" with Golan Zocher was an impressive Proton Music debut, while "Airbag" followed a year later and included a remix from the iconic figure of Bedrock's Nick Muir. Now making his Particles debut, the Eric Lune remix takes "Elevate" on a rich rhythmic voyage that delights with filtered chords that generate a beautiful sonic cadence of their own. Full of emotion, a glissando lead cuts through the mix at the mid-way point and into the breakdown before the rolling rhythmic pattern picks up the pace into the third movement to create an impressive remix that retains the character of Leck's original while transforming it into a new, brightly coloured sonic tapestry.

A pair of original tracks and remixes from Kamilo Sanclemente and Eric Lune have seen Dave Leck "Elevate" to new heights.

Elevate (Eric Lune Remix)

Clubsonica Records opens the summer season by welcoming Deviu back to the label for his debut EP. Based in Pasto, the Colombian artist began his journey into electronic music production in 2014 under a variety of alias', before eventually settling on Deviu in 2020. Created as an outlet to explore the realms of deep, progressive and organic house, Deviu soon landed releases on Nick Warren's The Soundgarden, Dopamine White and Purified, where his fresh sound immediately found footing. Having made his Clubsonica debut earlier this year with a remix of 'Zulu' by JFR, Deviu now makes a welcome return to the label with 'Two Worlds', alongside remixes from Da Fresh and Erdi Irmak.

The release begins with the electric vibes of 'Two Worlds'. Energetic and fluid, it carries a sleek yet groovy quality from the outset. Gaining momentum across the first act, the piece moves through a series of catchy key changing arps and cosmic effects, as timely stabs and driving percussive arrangements push energy forward. The emotional narrative expands across the second of two breaks, with gentle overlays creating a sense of calm and perfectly setting up an emotive, arp-driven finale. Meanwhile, the second selection 'Through the Darkness' finds Deviu showcasing a deeper side of his repertoire. Remarkably poignant, its warm shapely groove commands attention, moving through rolling contours and rhythmic pulses, while tasteful piano stabs and trance inducing melodies pave the forward. Short and concise, glowing atmospheres rise across the main break, highlighting the piano motif, before smoothly segueing into a goosebump-inducing conclusion. The third and final original 'Beyond the Light' follows a similar sonic ethos and finds the Colombian artist letting plucky hooks and glowing vocal pads descend over warm beats and smooth hypno-rhythms. Metallic melodies percolate across the first movement, bringing with them euphoric vibes, before a break of soulful phrasing and tranquil tones provide a bridge into a joyous finale.

Providing the lone interpretation of 'Two Worlds' is Da Fresh. Releases for 1605, Suara and Toolroom sit prominently in his discography, while more recent outings for Freegrant Music, Movement Recordings and Perspectives Digital have continued his evolution within the world of melodic house and techno. Now continuing what has been a great start to 2022, Da Fresh adds Clubsonica to his resume with a heady rendition of 'Two Worlds'. From a deeper vision, the French artist draws on the sensibilities of the original, working fragmented arps over a bed of pulsating beats and sleek percussion. Tastefully restrained, the main break advances the narrative with warm bass swells and balmy atmospheres eventually giving way to symphonic motifs and a smooth, meditative finale.

The release concludes with Erdi Irmak providing the lone interpretation of 'Through the Darkness'. The emergence of organic house in 2018 proved to be an impactful time in Erdi's evolution as a producer, inspiring him to champion the sound in his own creations, and eventually landing releases via Nick Warren's The Soundgarden, Hernan Cattaneo's Sudbeat Music, Hoomidaas and Tale and Tone.  Taking inspiration from the original, the Turkish artist flexes his free-thinking muscles and crafts a version that moves further into deeper territory. Warm, groovy and undeniably organic; its chunky low end, pixie-like effects and exotic percussive arrangements work in perfect sonic unison. An expansive centrepiece sits at the heart of the journey, highlighted by transcendent chirps, heavenly vocals and glowing overlays, perfectly setting the stage for a serene finale. A stunning remix from Erdi Irmak, a rare talent who continues to impress, capping off a superb debut EP for Deviu. Highly recommended.

One of our first releases in 2019 came from Eric Lune, the alter-ego of Melbourne-based Eric Quattropani, who provided us his stunning 3-track debut EP featuring "Snow Pony", "Wooden Bird" and the title track "Tantra". Since then, Eric Lune's unique atmospheric-heavy sound has earned himself bragging rights with his music being released on well respected imprints, namely SABB's "Radiant.", Guy Mantzur and Yaniv Tal's "Plattenbank", "Madloch's "Sound Avenue" + "3rd Avenue", Bryan Wolfear's "Strange Town" and MoodFreak and Mike Koglin's "YOMO". Fast-forward to almost exactly a year later and we celebrate and welcome him back for our 36th release on Juicebox Music with brand new remixes of his "Tantra" EP courtesy of Tantum, Donny Carr and Praveen Achary.

Karlsruhe (Germany) based artist - Tantum, aka Thomas Koch, steps up to remix the title track "Tantra". Tantum first made his appearance on our imprint through his "Ashen" EP in 2019. In a short span of time, he's been featured on labels like Einmusika's sister imprint "EIN2", Steve Bug's "Poker Flat", Superflu's "Monaberry" as well as the progressive imprints - "Mango Alley" and "Lowbit". Tantum's take on Eric Lune's "Tantra" weaves the original's melancholic soul with his signature stamp and amazing sound-design elements, turning it into a proper club banger.
