Upstart Music, circa 2008. The brain child of then UK based D-Funk. Quickly nominated at the International Break beat awards, Upstart set out it’s stall early; to release quality break beat led music from across the globe. Fast forward to ’14 & Upstart are still going strong all be it based in Sydney, Australia nowadays.

Everyone loves a good bit of nostalgier so after listening back to the tunes we’ve released we decided to update some of our classic tunes & have drafted in an all star line up of both old & new names alike.

Upstart boss D-Funk takes on one of the label best selling tunes in the shape of Rogue Robot’s ‘Off My Face In ‘97’. His updated version flexes old skool 2 step garge vibes, a sound he’s become known for recently. Bubbling basslines & lighters in the air!

this here ladies & gentlemen is a track i wrote back in 2001. a commercial release was intended but had to be dismissed after i've lost all songfiles, notes & samples after a nasty computer crash.

all i had was a rough & unmastered 128 kbit mp3. this version here is actually mastered with that file as source, so don't expect audio science ;)

i hope you enjoy the free download because this track always meant something special to me.

After growing tired of their individual DJ performances, Breaks &amp; Enter residents Devastatin,Dave &amp; Dominic Lennon (DJL) joined forces to bring forward the collaboration Datadex.
With a firm direction focused on production in both the original and remix realms Datadex aspire to bring something exclusive to their performances.
