The Coleco Talking Teacher (Released 1985) is a child's teaching aid with a synthesized voice. It has 8 English and 2 maths activities with a total of 165 word's vocabulary built in (Rare as snake knee's expansion cartridges are available) its circuitry is similar to that of the Texas instruments speak and spell range of toys but with more advanced voice chips and functions. luckily for circuit bending the circuit is very bendable unlike the super speak and xox of the same era which have far more advanced circuits and so fewer bends usually available.

The SPEAK & WRITE is more basic later version of the SPEAK AND SPELL range of talking toys by Texas Instruments. It has less games to play and no LED screen showing the words. Speech wise the voice is a little clearer and more defined than the earlier speak and spell models.

Sound Machine's are little novelty sound devices with 16 one shot sounds. Several flavors are available - Cartoon, Sci-Fi, Horror, Original (general) and a a special football edition. The units are Pretty lame for sampling until circuit bend them adding  pitch control taking the pitch super evil LOW and chip munk higher. for a novelty unit the sample rate is quite good and the sounds are cleaner than most at low pitch!!! all units are easy to bend great for for a beginner to Circuit Bendin
