I pitched it down five semitones, added my own percussion and reshaped some textures with subtle harmonic layers and ambient shifts. Our first remix on Mango Alley was of the grand "The Shore" by Mango and SEAWAVES. It was great working with both of them and the response to the track was fantastic, and prompted a beautifully shot music video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QJe1DfY0qms). So it was an absolute pleasure to combine forces again, with SEAWAVES on vocals and releasing on Mango Alley.

The piece is inspired by a story about a lighthouse watchman who loses his love in a shipwreck and decides to take his own life so that he can be with her once again. A sad tale with a thread of beauty. The original version is the Sunset remix, but we wanted to create a 4/4 interpretation too, that you can find in the Sunrise remix.

Written and produced between 2019 and 2020, Dario Lupo's latest album, "Harmony", is a slow and evolving ambient journey through self-awareness.

With a mixture of retro artifacts, contemporary instruments and evolving sci-fi inspired soundscapes, this release focuses on Dario's inner search for simplicity.

Dario's words:

"The idea of this album is not too abstract, it's really all about my inner self. It's very much connected to my everyday situations and efforts as an individual and artist, including the time I spent working on the album itself. The final result is the acknowledgement of my past mistakes and the feeling of acceptance of being just one – in Hamony within myself."
