PENIK ETTEK - CONTROL & ORDER [RPTCH07]

DATASMOK is an alias of Rave veteran @albert_van_abbe showcasing his roots in the Dutch underground squat- & Tekno scene. A raw niche that he was intimately involved with during the early 2000’s, performing live-sets at illegal raves throughout Europe where playing countless hours knee-deep in mud for dogs on acid was the norm.

The DATASMOK project was kickstarted by default when Guy Tavares and Albert decided to release archived tracks from van Abbe on Tavares' Bunker Records, a label Albert has been working with since 2007. Ever since Reaktor-events got wind of the project and asked DATASMOK to close their event Kartharsis at the Elementenstraat Warehouse in Amsterdam, DATASMOK requests have kept rolling in. 2017 is seeing a brand new DATASMOK E.p. on Bas Mooy's MORD as well as a Penik Ettek / DATASMOK split on rave imprint Repitch.
