The third offering of this compilation series is again a full pack of house music! From deep to dark, it’s all about club cuts and new and upcoming artists. Starting catchy with Groove Riddim (who already released on legendary Skylax label) and moving on deep and punchy with dutch artists Droop (happy to be the first label releasing his music) for finally arriving in darker territories with Manchester based 47Sounds (Underground Source among others) and dutch (again!) duo Wouter S & Locklead (Koma, Raw Underground). Seems it’s getting hot in the Love Club!

Next up on wAFF’s increasingly popular NATURE imprint, Italian DJ/Producer Lorenzo de Blanck follows up releases on Moon Harbour, Rebellion, SK Recordings, Hottrax and many more with an impressive new EP titled ‘My Beat’. Alongside three fresh cuts from de Blanck, the EP also features a standout remix from Take Notes label boss and respected Romanian artist Mahony.

‘My Beat’ provides a worthy intro of punchy drums, shuffling percussion and juicy analogue undertones. An unignorable bassline melody drives the core of the mix, orbited by rolling rhythms, energetic fills and a catchy vocal hook. ‘We Need To Go’ comes next, bringing a similar vibe to its predecessor. Hard-hitting authentic drum sounds flood the mix, ricocheting off the rattle of piercing hat and shaker grooves, sliced into by another cleverly chopped and arranged vocal hook and dissected by a sea of modular melodic splashes throughout - this one has heaps of character.

“Gimme Some” takes you into the second half of the EP as things get a little deeper and more stripped-back. Littered with underground flavours throughout, its base of minimal-esque rhythms and coarse analogue musicality rides a pleasant tide of peaks and troughs as the harmonic intensity twists and turns throughout the track. Mahony closes the release with his “Gimme Some” remix, taking things even further underground. Bringing that renowned Romanian sound to the table - his retake features plenty of the original’s standout melodic features, all rolled up into that signature shuddering, wobbly format that we have come to know and love from many great artists to pioneer that sound throughout the years.

About the artist:
Lorenzo is a vinyl lover but also attracted to new technologies; with the heart in the roots of house music but a mind constantly projected to the sound of the future and in continuous evolution.
Each of his dj-sets is a surprise formed by elegance and energy.
There is already a lot to say about his fast-growing career, and in the summer of 2023 Cocoricò choose Lorenzo ad dj resident of the famous "Cocoricò On The Beach" party where he payed with Ben Sterling, Latmun, Tini Gessles, Sam Paganini, Chelina Manuhutu, Andrea Oliva, Reinier Zonneveld, and many more!

Lorenzo is also the main man of Simple from Ferrara (IT), one of the best underground parties currently held in Italy, where he shares the dj booth with great djs like
Patrick Topping, Darius Syrossian, Hector Couto, wAFF, Richy Ahmed, Stacey Pullen, Richy Ahmed, Cuartero, Dennis Cruz, Radio Slave, Marco Faraone, Leon and many others.
Lorenzo is also a regular guest on some of the major radio shows such as “It’s All About the Music”, the official Music On radio show on Ibiza Global Radio in Ibiza, Data Transmission, "The Spot" Solardo radio show and many more.

December's chapter of the Beat Library features a balearic house mix with Progressive b2b Aidan. The mix features various percussive sounds translating to the Ibiza sound we all know 🌴

Progressive are a duo from Perth who run their own event Surco. The lads have played across Scotland for several events throughout the years including playing Sub Club as one of their first ever gigs. A special highlight for them was selling out the Ice Factory in Perth with top house DJ, SOSA🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿Check out their page and give them a follow!

Bacbeat is a diverse house DJ who although in the early stages of his journey has already captivated crowds in London, Ibiza and Africa. After recently playing in Studio 338 for Forward Motion and supporting Groove Armada at Ministry of Sound for their 33rd birthday weekender, Bacbeat is commanding dance floors with growing popularity.

Joining Bacbeat for Preheat's XMAS SPECIAL is the Maidstone based DJ and Producer, FENN. Fenn is creating big waves with his production and crafting his sound at such a young age has already seen him support the likes of Ben Hensley and LF System as well as playing for respected brands such as Cafe Mambo, Foreverland and Lovejuice. With a promising future ahead, if you haven't heard of Fenn before, 2025 will certainly be the year you do.
