So… about that storm after my last show. 😅
People keep asking if it was my fault — I still say “maybe.”
But the timing was wild. The rain hit Ibiza right after “Here Comes The Rain Again” played on @ibizastardustradio.
Coincidence? Or just music doing its thing…

Ok ok — and now those two guys are back.
Yeah — @kellyreverb (the boss of @lone_star_records) & @chad.lemans.
Some say if enough people danced to “Here Comes The Rain Again” last time, it could’ve triggered the weather itself.
Who knows?
Anyway, they’re here again — this time with “Dark Side.”
Perfect timing for Halloween, right? 🎃

Up next in my B2B Producer Series for House Fusion Radio, Episode 42 [broadcast FRI 3RD OCT] featuring my very special guest and friend MC Alpha Bee (Ghent BE/Morocco) ... a one-of-a-kind DJ/Producer who for years has been a brilliant and busy bee in the Underground, creating truly unique Afro House and Tribal beats, with Deep, Tech, and Minimal ... all mixed to perfection with his signature style of Hip Hop sampling.  His brilliant 1HR 'Rebirth of the Light' set he submitted has been on heavy rotation at home, and in my headphones here on the streets of Hong Kong these last few weeks. Following up an MC Alpha Bee set is no easy task to be sure. Had a blast digging through the crates for just the right tracks to do the tall job to match his outstanding creativity and intensity.  Using obscure samples from a wide range of media, his shows and mixes are handcrafted with love to be heard and understood as storytelling, giving us the essence of the originals, but crafting them like paragraphs in the chapters of the book he's reciting. The Groovehouse Radio With Si Alker - EP2

As someone who started Dj'ing in the 90s, I though it was probably time I put a mix together of some of the classic jams we used to get down to back in the day.
Like any era, there's a lot of BS online about what we were really listening to, but I like to think this is an honest representation of what was going on, at least for a South London boy.

Intentionally avoided too much housey stuff, UK garage, DnB and nu school breaks as I reckon that will all deserve it's own mix though kicking off with a few RnB gems, some early funky & feel good 90s hip hop, acid jazz as well as a nod to the Big Beat movement and naturally a few dance classics to finish.

Hope you all like it. Took a while to put together though good fun taking that journey back and rediscovering some quality jams. Tried to avoid too many avoid choices but hopefully some classic vibes to give everyone a taste of some of that 90s goodness!!!
