It’s an age old story… A world-renowned DJ makes a mix CD that you fall in love with and so you diligently search for all the tracks featured in homage to its brilliance. Then you come up against problems finding certain tracks that were super exclusive or even never released commercially. For Salah, that track was AU by Rev and featured on the highly acclaimed Fabric 10 mix by US House royalty, Doc Martin. “I always loved AU and it’s one of the few tracks I could never get my hands on,” Salah explains, “Ive tried to track it down but no reply from Doc Martin and then found an artist with the same name on Discogs but never got a reply. I even sent some emails across the industry and still no reply. SO here we are…” Determined not to be beaten, Salah made an edit from the CD to use in his own DJ sets, but felt he could make something much better given the time. “The edit now is a more produced and cleaned version of how I like using the track today.” He says and we are proud to offer it to you as a free download.
