DJ and journalist. For more than two decades, he has witnessed the evolution of national night clubbing, as a DJ or as editor of spaces for Mexican dance music ('DJ México' (1996); elektrorave.com (1999), 'DJ Concept' (2001), 'In the Groove' (2004), 'Night Club Industry Forum' magazine). In 2008, he released his first Mix CD: “Tech Mex. Movimientos”, where it brings together several of the greatest exponents of electronic music in the country. A fan of the underground sound on vinyl, he can mix Detroit techno as well as house, hi-nrg as well as disco, going through the Philly Sound to Salsoul, which led him to be invited by the famous #HouseSaladMusic crew to perform his monthly podcast 'Selections '; likewise, gradually being invited into the famous chilango parties #Panorama and #Dancesafe of the #CuatroCuartosBestialCrew. Jakobin is the solo project of DJ and producer Georg Nadler. Growing up in the 90s in rural upper Austria, Georg spent his time skateboarding and listening to lots of hip hop before witnessing the halcyon days of the Vienna downbeat era and later being introduced to Austrias club culture. Pursuing his growing passion for collecting vinyl, Georg started spinning his first records in the notorious „Kijani“ in Linz. There he invited Djs like the Vienna Scientists or the one and only Mr. Slack Hippy. After moving to Vienna, Georg had a two year residency alongside future label mate Simon Lebon in the Donau Techno, Vienna’s first adress for Techno music back then. While his gigs at the „Donau Techno“ helped him explore the deeper shades of techno, acid and electro, he also began spinning disco and house records with his long time friend Dominik Huber. Quickly getting immersed in Viennas electronic music scene, the duo started producing and DJing under the Moniker Jakobin & Domino and became founding members of Luv Shack Records in 2011. After a number of successful releases on Luv Shack and several EPs for the legendary Chicago label Large Records, Jakobin & Domino became a staple in the Viennese house scene and played several gigs in Berlin, Paris or Geneva. Recently he also teamed up with his other longtime friend and Artist Peletronic, releasing EPs on Fortunea Records and Hungarian Hot Wax under the Jakobin & Peletronic moniker. Jakobins sound is a testament to years of open minded record collecting, encompassing influences from downbeat, hip hop, techno, disco, house, funk, afro and jazz. His growing collection of analog gear also helped shape his productions as of late, and so it comes as no surprise that his first solo track was picked up by the highly acclaimed Futureboogie recordings in 2020.

Pleased to bring you One Foot 85. My first show back since July. Huge thanks to @djemmachampion for covering August's edition. 
This show kicks off with a nice deep trip by Chari Chari and we progress through the genre's until I settle on the usual deep melodic 4/4 vibe. 
Apologies, but due to some technical issues the show comes in at 1hr 55 as apposed to the usual 2hr mark. 
That doesn't mean however that you're getting short changed. Music is still very much on point. Enjoy and dive in.
