Lagunes JR is a project led by Ricardo Lagunes, the founder of Producer/Colectivo Distinto and a member of the marketing and production team at @EPHIMERA in Tulum, MX. Since his childhood, he has been deeply passionate about electronic music and has organized events and parties solely for the love of music that deviates from the ordinary. Residing in Tulum, MX, he explores experimental and organic sounds within the genres of House, Progressive, and Minimal, creating a vibrant and energetic spatial environment with carefully curated music to generate the best atmosphere and groove for dancing.

This week, I welcome my close friend Alex Rojas. Alex and I are currently working on some production ideas together. Look for our releases in the very near future.

Alex Rojas, a DJ and Producer from Medellin, Colombia, is a sought-after name with active support from artists such as Paco Osuna, Mau P, Jamie Jones, Lumberjack, Gallya, Rowen Clark, and many more, positioning him as an artist who is steadily carving a space within the scene with his musical style. Wrapped in hours of production and extensive time mixing between songs, he has sought to constantly perfect his musical style. Moving between a fusion of house, disco, reggae, soul, breakbeat, jazz, among others, he can be classified as a highly versatile artist, adapting his style to Tech House - Minimal Deep tech. The year 2020 was a pivotal period for his career, as he founded his record label "Not So Serious" where he released his first tracks, focusing on professionalizing his career and taking his first steps in the industry.

About BLINDSTARES:
Developing an affinity for house and electronic music in college, Blindstares broke into the DJ Scene Summer of 2017 as a Collaborator of This/Side. Since he's been a supporting member across different events and venues, showcasing his range from choppy swing filled beats to progressive melodic journey sets.. 2022 saw his return to his Nu Android's Sundown Residency along with his ascent into NU Androids Collective Manager helping to promote Washington DC DJs as they support touring artist. 2023 continues his trajectory into prominence building off 2022s success and driving forward his musical career in the Washington DC area taking lead in Nu Androids events and managing venue partnerships and talent.

Saeed Younan is a world-class globe-trotting DJ, recording artist, sought-after remix producer, and the head of his own label, Younan Music. Over the last two decades, the veteran DJ / producer has been a key player in the house & techno global movement.

Music has been at the core of DC-based Saeed Younan’s life since he can remember. He dates his love for music back to when his family left his home of Baghdad, Iraq in 1981. Growing up amidst a war, Saeed turned to an old tape recorder and European radio shows to pass the time. Music remained a source of inspiration for him as he learned to play drums and other instruments during his childhood. When he moved to America, he decided that music was his passion and inevitably pursued it. No doubt in mind, it paid off. Today, Saeed is a world-class globe-trotting DJ, recording artist, sought-after remix producer, and the head of his very own Younan Music. Over the last two decades, the veteran producer has been a key player in the house and techno movement in the USA and a true artist in the global dance scene.

Tito Valchev (@titovalchev) launched his career in 2001 in Bulgaria and quickly established himself as a skilled DJ. After a brief hiatus in his career, Tito returned in 2021 and was discovered by the UK-based record label, Underground Kollektiv. Since then, he has made monthly appearances on multiple radio stations, performed at prestigious events such as the Amsterdam Dance Event in the Netherlands, multiple appearances at the renowned Ephimera in Tulum, Mexico. In 2023, Tito was recognized locally and invited to perform at established top tier venues such as Flash, Gramophone, Lima Twist and Bar 618. Additionally, Tito made his debut with the Nu Androids collective and had the pleasure to open for Franky Rizardo. His first EP called ‘Tato’ was released in the summer of 2023 on all streaming platforms. Moreover, Tito hosts his own bi-weekly radio show ‘Output Omitted’, which airs on Data Transmission Radio. Tito uses his platform to give other up and coming DJs an opportunity to shine. Tito is a rising star in the DJ community and a highly sought-after DJ and continues to entertain audiences with his signature blend of house music.

 Tito Valchev is scheduled to make his debut on the infamous island in Spain known to be the home of some of the most memorable parties - Ibiza, in May 2024.
