Ogstan is 21 year old Will Patterson; raised in Bournemouth and living in Brighton. Ogstan is a family name, chosen to stand out, just like his music. 

When he’s not making banging tunes he’s a barber, and we think he’s a cut above the rest. Ogstan’s journey has come full circle already; his first raves were Jungle Cakes nights and now he’s releasing music on the label. When he’s not producing, DJ’ing or giving fresh trims, Ogstan promotes midweek multi-genre night Malware Sound in Brighton. The Horribalistic EP is 4 slabs of immaculately produced jungle, made for the dancefloor.

Title track Horribalistic hits hard, a full on jungle assault with help from Dan Mercer; a friend from electronic music college.

Bonkaz is dirty rolla, complete with 90s synth stabs for a heady rave vibe, Quickrush is a techy, glitchy journey into the digital universe.

Since signing with V Recordings in 2015, the São Paulo due Alibi have continued to delivered time and time again. The duos highly anticipated debut album ’Said & Done’ released at the tail end of 2018 which was their most complete statement of their musical vision to date, gaining support from the drum and bass scene giants. Alibi then went on to guest on BBC Radio 1, and stood at the forefront of the ’25 Years Of V Recordings’ tour, solidifying themselves as one of the labels top names.

Their first release after the album comes in the form of the ’Catalyst EP’, a four track release which shows Alibi experimenting with their harder, more dance-floor focused side, with ‘Sorrow’ as an additional nod to ‘Said & Done’. This EP will sure be the driving force of their summer sets, where they’ll be playing at a number of prestigious club nights and festivals such as the ‘Future’ album launch and Glastonbury.

Harley D brings a lethal concoction of gnarly drums and bass to the Serial Killaz label for his debut Bassline Thumpin’ EP. Everyone loves a low end rumbler right? This 6 tracker has enough of it to shake a fridge of Red Stripe to the floor.

The title track certainly delivers it’s promise of knocking you to the floor after the first 32 bars, aggressively pumping out single note stabs accompanied by cheeky MC vocal licks. ‘Relaxation’ really isn’t that relaxing at all, instead it causes all manner of robotic dance moves even if you’re sitting in a quarantine pen with a bloody mask on.

‘Badboy’ brings some authentic Serial Killaz flavour to the mix, chucking in a load of off-key bass that sounds like it’s been driven through an elephant's trunk. ‘Visuals’ is a bit of a mind screwer with vintage broadcasting vocals that would fit perfectly with a trippy lazer show although if you’re short of one right now just stick on a £10 SoundLab strobe and stare at it for 6 hours.

‘Distress Signal’ and ‘Dancehall Killaz’ feature more of the same grot, if fact this whole EP could do with a good wash at 90 degrees although sticking your USB stick in hot water probably isn’t a good idea.
