Stateside Jungle Vol. 1 narrates the exhilarating movements within jungle’s current-day American underground, compiled by Don-Ri’s Twist label. 14 tracks from 8en, BC Rydah, Dev/Null, DJ Airwalk, Dope On Plastic, Krugah, M27, NANA, Ontology, Poisonfrog, Quaad, Soeneido, Soulox and SWAP MEET! chronicle the rich array of sounds from US junglists repping the quick rhythms of breaks ‘n’ bass within their local scenes.

Jungle has steadfast been a pearl of the rave for over 3 decades now, a UK-born phenomenon of cascading breaks and gut-wrenching subs that has caused havoc within the dance. Don-Ri’s Twist crew have been a party-driven advocate for the sound within the US, championing its underground inclinations throughout NYC’s best intimate spaces.
