At the start of 2025, Transparent Audio announced its focus on expanding and diversifying its core roster. We’re excited to reveal the latest addition to our family – the Bristol-based duo, Dubruvvas. These two incredibly talented artists have been on our radar for the past few years. We've crossed paths at various events in Bristol and shared many conversations about collaborating. It’s with great pleasure that we now welcome them to the Transparent Audio team.

Known for their mastery of minimal sounds, Dubruvvas have firmly established themselves as key players in the underground scene. Since first making waves in 2021 with their innovative approach to sound design, which blends rolling basslines with stripped-back drums, they’ve earned the respect of both their peers and audiences. Their unique sonic identity is unmistakable and continues to captivate listeners worldwide.

Their debut project with Transparent Audio, Diamond Bits EP, showcases the duo’s versatility with four distinct tracks, each reflecting a different facet of their dynamic sound. The EP also features a collaboration with none other than Bristol’s finest, Gusto.

We’re thrilled to be working with Dubruvvas and can’t wait for you to experience what they have in store.

Integral Records is kicking off 2025 with a bang, dropping ‘SEVENTEEN+’, the final bonus EP to round off their anniversary album project. Known for pushing forward-thinking liquid and deep, rolling Drum & Bass, the label delivers five fresh cuts to add to the already stacked ‘SEVENTEEN’ LP. This one features heavyweights like HLZ, Phil Tangent, Malaky, Thread, Tatora, Philth, and Archangel, while also introducing Creatures and Sense MC to the label for the first time.

The EP brings a solid mix of vibes. ‘Love Song’—a collab between Creatures, Philth, and Sense MC—hits straight in the feels and already sounds like a future classic. HLZ switches things up with ‘Velvet Vice’, a proper deep and headsy roller. Phil Tangent & Malaky link up again for ‘Rival’, a track packed with emotion and dancefloor energy. Archangel, one of Integral’s latest signings from Lisbon, takes a trip down memory lane with ‘Reconnect’—a massive dancefloor banger that nods to liquid funk’s golden days while showcasing his unique sound. Blending deep basslines with influences from his Portuguese heritage, he’s quickly proving himself as a rising star in the scene. Thread and Tatora wrap things up with ‘DFWY’, a silky smooth dose of liquid goodness.

With this final instalment, Integral closes out the ‘SEVENTEEN’ project in style, proving once again why they’re one of the most respected names in the game.

Typecell 'Retribution' [Subplate Recordings]

Beta 2 has been mastering the art of production for years, blending jazzy elements with cinematic depth to create truly immersive Drum & Bass. He’s long been one of the most exciting artists on Metalheadz, so it’s a real treat to see him back with a fresh three-tracker, ‘White Dahlia’.

The title track takes a different approach, stripping things back with organic, live instrument-driven sounds rather than the usual synth-heavy style—it’s a real breath of fresh air.

On the flip of a limited edition white 10” lathe cut, ‘Kerb Kruncher’ throws it back to the early 2000s with raw energy and gritty textures, delivering some proper nostalgia.

Closing things out, ‘Carter’ is classic Beta 2—deep, moody, and dripping in atmosphere, with those signature noir vibes and rich double bass tones.
