Dopo averci donato diverse release techno nell’ultimo periodo, il deejay e producer italiano DJ Datch è ancora in fermento per quanto riguarda le sue produzioni, sempre alla ricerca della qualità per quel riguarda il suo stile dark, da cui ne scaturisce il suo solo e unico credo. A proposito di questo artista, Natch Records, la label berlinese conosciuta in quest’ambito per i suoi showcase al Tresor di Berlino, propone per la sua sedicesima uscita l’EP “Full of nothing”, appunto l’ultimo lavoro di DJ Datch.
Questa release propone quattro tracce totalmente techno, i primi tre brani originali sono completati dal remix del produttore madrileno Kwartz. L’ep è fondato su basi ipnotiche, scure e avvolgenti, le quali tengono sempre lo stessa impronta cupa, ispirandosi forse proprio alla città dove si basa l’etichetta che lo propone.

After giving us several techno releases in the last period, the Italian DJ and producer DJ Datch is still in turmoil regarding his productions, always searching for quality that relates to his dark style, from which it derives its just and only creed. About this artist, Natch Records, the Berlin label known in this area for its showcase at Tresor in Berlin, proposes to his sixteenth release the EP "Full of Nothing", in fact the last work of DJ Datch.

This release offers four tracks totally techno, the first three original tracks are completed by the remix of Kwartz, Madrid producer. The EP is founded on bases hypnotic, dark and enveloping, which always keep the same footprint gloomy, perhaps inspired by the city where the label is based proposes.

Inspired to explore the different types of electronic music, creativity and passion leads him to a broader evolutionary path, starting playing in the most important clubs of his native land, Sardinia.

His performances began to take an intense musical form of personal communication with the obsessive use of drums, almost like stabbings, in a progressive growth up to mesmerize the listener: explosion then restart.

The next step is outside Italy, turning a utopia into reality: Tresor Club in Berlin. DJ Datch found a context of sound research, find the chemistry that makes developing a personal style characterized by techno sounds, dark and hypnotic in combination with hints of experimental dub, focusing his energies into his dark style.

Over the years, his music has been published on various labels including Eclectic Limited, Kynant, Edit Select, Attic Music, Natch Records, Muted, Seance, Par, No Way, and many others.

La voglia di evadere ed un vago senso di soggezione interiore, dovuta da vuoti cupi che solo la musica riusciva a colmare, trasportano DJ Datch ad avvicinarsi al mondo del clubbing, ma la passione lo spinge ad un più ampio percorso evolutivo, iniziando a suonare nei maggiori club della sua terra nativa, la Sardegna. Le sue perfomance iniziano ad assumere una intensa forma musicale di comunicazione personale, nei suoi mix propone spesso drums ossessivi come fossero pugnalate, il tutto altalenato da una progressiva crescita, fino ad ipnotizzare l’ascoltatore per poi esplodere e ripartire. Arriva ad esportare le sue creatività sonore anche all’estero, trasformando un utopia diventata realtà, l’esibizione al Tresor Club di Berlino.

DJ Datch Inizia ad acquisire un background di ricerca sonora, trovando un alchimia che gli fa sviluppare uno stile personale caratterizzato da sonorità techno, dark e ipnotiche combinate con cenni di dub sperimentale.

Nella volontà di completarsi ed esprimere il suo stile, esordisce nel 2011 nel campo delle produzioni, sempre alla ricerca di qualità per quel riguarda il suo stile dark, assumendo connotati mistici da cui ne scaturisce il solo e unico credo. Negli anni la sua musica viene pubblicata su varie etichette tra cui Eclectic Limited, Kynant, Edit Select, Attic Music, Natch Records, Muted, Seance, Par, No Way, and many others.
