R.sensation was born in a cellar further to an overdose of air.
Since then, he does not stop wandering in the dark and narrow side streets of the district " el Raval " in Barcelona. When he is not low, it is between the walls of the old man whorehouse of besançon that he finds the inspiration to compose his music. To accompany its faithful goldfish and its TB, Sensation looks for the depth of the dreams has fault the special spaces.

Emotional dance music (made with real tears) coming straight outta the salty coasts of Bangor as Born Sleepy label head Optmst soundtracks those sleepy mornings and late nights.

Most days you can find Optmst in an abandoned college building in the East of Belfast, which is now a home to around eighty different artists of all shapes and sizes. Here, looking over the industrial ruins of a once mighty shipbuilding city, he conducts live jam sessions alongside fellow Born Sleepy associate Spireview. It's here that Inner Child was created - through clouds of smoke, emotional instinct and dreams of the subconcsious.

So, here we are. An insanely annoying and devastating year goes to an end and I can’t say I’m mad about it. It brought loss, tragedy, and tremendous hardship to many of our doorsteps and my heart goes out to all of you who got hit the hardest. But after all, I can’t help but see the positive side of things and say “thank you!” to all of you who made me keep my sanity in all those months of social distancing and solitude by being amazing artists, DJ’s, musicians, or just a part of this community.
