Black Butter Records, The critically acclaimed UK label that launched the careers of Rudimental, Gorgon City, Kidnap Kid, Solomon Grey and many more, announce their first compilation Black Butter Volume # One on December 10. The comp will also feature remixes and tracks from UK Producer Woz, Grime mainstay Scrufizzer, Sailor & I, Joel Compass, Drums of Death and My Nu Leng. 

Started just three years ago in an East London Flat, Black Butter has grown into what DJ Mag has dubbed "The hottest, tastiest label in the UK right now" and have cultivated a reputation finding, nurturing and releasing underground dance music's best young talent and taking it to the highest platforms. From the discovery of Jessie Ware as vocalist on RacknRuin's Soundclash EP in 2011 to radio success with  Gorgon City to Rudimental who have sold 1.5 million copies worldwide of their debut album Home which was named one of SPIN's top albums of the year, Black Butter has become a force to reckon with in the pop and dance world.
