Mario Alcantara-Monteiro alias DATGRUVEE

UK-based international DJ artist impacted by the different genres and cultures of the world, bringing with him conceptualized and deeply arranged sounds that move between jazz and soul with more poignant and percussive nuances that refer to his African and Mediterranean roots along with other Latin and middle eastern influences. His productions represent him as an individual who seeks to celebrate the musical richness of different parts of the world through his identity. Mario has performed and directed projects with Egg LDN, ADE, El Row, SushiSamba, W Hotel, BoxPark, and TribalSoul. As a producer, Mario also counts with records released under US-based Pasqua Records and the Italian Double Records, with several charting positions across Traxsource for his last EP 'Woman.' Furthermore, Mario runs his very own global electronic music and art project - Ethnik Dance Lab.
