Five years after the first chapter, K.O.D shows his feelings through afro-house to offer an intense follow-up to his album Emotion.

At 32, Simbarashe Kodzai has established himself as an essential icon of Seres Producoes, a label he joined almost 6 years ago. Whether he works under his nickname K.O.D or Afro Wav, the producer shapes afro-house music focused on melodies and vocals, giving the genre a pop dimension accessible to all ears. Clean, fluid and often dreamlike, the sound of K.O.D is based on our common need to convey our thoughts and our emotions, whether positive or negative. Convinced that music is the best vector to pass on this concept, the Zimbabwean 'King of Drums' translates this natural instinct on Emotion 2, exploring different personal feelings related to joy, love, the need for attention or the loss of a loved one.

With this new album coming from the heart, K.O.D brings together his listeners around unifying lyrics, warm African percussions and ethereal synthesizers, reminding in his own way how much human beings like to be listened to. Full of hope, Emotion 2 goes through different states and elegantly adapts the codes of afro-house of course, but also the energy of afro-tek or the deep bass of amapiano. K.O.D also surrounds himself properly with a team of talented guests made of DJ Satelite, Michael King, Kaiya, DJ Galio, Mandisa, Stewie Le Savage or Prudence Mabhena, giving his work a double strength: pleasant for domestic listening and epic for the dance floor.

I've included another remix by LeSoul in a forthcoming package "Figure It Out" with the scintillating vocalist Lee Tshipana (also from BW) that we've been waiting A LONG time to release - my body vibrates at a high frequency with this banger.

Born in Giyani,Limpopo Blaq Tronic began producing in 2008 and deejaying in 2012.He released his first tracks under his former label Blaq Deep Rhythms, building a catalogue which spans many years. Songs like''Fly away and vibe with me, and his EP Culterd love, he made in impact in the scene and got a lot of attention.
Bakone, Kwazulu and Umoya are songs from his project which were played in functions all over the country. He is currently thriving at African Bass Media, a label he co-owns with vocalist and producer, Mocchachino Ochi. He now boasts even more hits under his Discography. Apart from collaborating with SA artist he has also a collaboration with a Colombian artist on a single called ''Space Jam''. His remix of ''No inhibitions'' is doing amazing numbers on various streamingplatforms. In 2021 one of his singles '' I'm not a slave '' got listet in the biggest Afrohouse playlist in SA ( The Mint South Africa ). Last Year he also dropped an EP called ''Mvelo'' and Songs like ''Ukhamba'' and ''Respect'' which have helped him establish in important role in the scene. UK-based international DJ artist impacted by the different genres and cultures of the world, bringing with him conceptualized and deeply arranged sounds that move between jazz and soul with more poignant and percussive nuances that refer to his African and Mediterranean roots along with other Latin and middle eastern influences. His productions represent him as an individual who seeks to celebrate the musical richness of different parts of the world through his identity. Mario has performed and directed projects with Egg LDN, ADE, El Row, SushiSamba, W Hotel, BoxPark, and TribalSoul. As a producer, Mario also counts with records released under US-based Pasqua Records and the Italian Double Records, with several charting positions across Traxsource for his last EP 'Woman.' Furthermore, Mario runs his very own global electronic music and art project - Ethnik Dance Lab.
