David Margiani aka Margo was one of unsung innovators of what was known at that time as Georgian alternative scene, which in retrospect was really early stages of Georgian electronic scene. Starting from the early 90’s, he formed duo „Waltz” with fellow musician Dima Dadiani, where at the young age they were experimenting with post-punk sound. Some years later, he was charismatic frontman of band “EnergyResource”, with more punk-ish aesthetic. After band disbanded in late 90’s, he dived in the field of electronic music, composing lot’s of IDM & glitch with some Georgian flavor. He formed electronic duo “Galaxsis” with childhood friend Dima Dadiani & “La Ma” with Lado Oniani, collaborating with “Afternoon Version” & so on. He tragically died in 2010.
