Après avoir joué des disques de Boards of Canada et Laurent Garnier pendant plusieurs années, Lensüb rejoint Phonosphere en 2017, puis Progessive Connexion en 2024. À l’image du set qu’il nous propose ici, il aime naviguer au sein du large spectre de la musique électronique. De la disco-house, à la trance, en passant par la ghetto, la route est imprévisible et l’arrivée pas moins surprenante. Une expérience auditive résolument dépaysante à vivre loin des carcans de genres habituels.

After dropping tracks from Boards of Canada and Laurent Garnier for years, Lensüb linked up with Phonosphere in 2017, and then locked in with Progessive Connexion in 2024. Just like the set he’s laying down here, he loves to ride through the wide spectrum of electronic sounds. From disco-house to trance, and straight-up ghetto, the journey’s unpredictable, and the destination’s always full of surprises. It’s a wild, mind-bending sound experience, breaking free from all those usual genre boundaries.

I’m delighted to invite ECE, a Berlin-based immigrant musician. DJ and producer, lead of the Turkish punk band Softa, she’s also a founder of Rebella Records, member of Wreckage Sound System and co-host of the now-deceased Salyangoz Potkest.
ECE has played in legendary clubs like Tresor, KitKat, Renate, and more, but her biggest guilty pleasure are llegal raves!
She has recorded this 1 hour techno mix, on a Sunday mood, gravitating around deep & mental vibes. Enjoy!

Who are you?

I am ECE, a Berlin-based immigrant musician. I am a DJ and producer, as well as the lead of the Turkish punk band Softa. I’m also the founder of Rebella Records, a member of Wreckage Sound System, and co-host of the now-deceased Salyangoz Potkest.

How would you describe your mix?

I always like to improvise my sets, drawing from my mood and what I’m currently listening to. This particular mix came together on a Sunday afternoon after three gigs and a very busy weekend. I was chilling at home, and it naturally evolved into something with positive, Sunday vibes. Normally, I tend to gravitate toward darker and more complex sounds, but I kept in mind that this is also a radio show. I thought it might be nice to listen to for anyone getting ready for their weekend or winding down at an after-party. I hope everyone enjoys it :)

Which artists, DJs, or producers inspire you?

All of them! Anyone who is truly good at their craft inspires me. I admire artists who are authentic in what they do. Uniqueness and fresh ideas always inspire me the most. Whenever I hear something truly original, I go, “Wooooooohhh, how could they even think of this?!” That feeling is what I live for. Because of that, I prefer not to name specific artists—it’s the originality that speaks to me.

What was your best moment on stage?

I think my biggest guilty pleasure is illegal raves. They are my deep love, and my best moments on stage have been at free rave parties. I love how autonomously and temporarily a complete utopia is created, only to disappear after a few hours.

Aside from that, I’ve been lucky enough to play in legendary clubs like Tresor, KitKat, Renate, and more. I don’t even need to say how special those moments are for me. All organizations that are driven by passion and professionalism touch me deeply.

And let’s not forget Fuckparade as well!!!!

The second lander and rover mission, Chandrayaan-3 successfully landed on the Moon on 23 August 2023, making India the first nation to successfully land a spacecraft in the lunar south pole region, and the fourth country to soft land on the Moon after the Soviet Union, the United States and China.

It was a crucial turning point marking the end of Western supremacy. This compilation compiled by Alexander Robotnick intends to be a (somewhat delayed) celebration of the beginning of a multipolar world where the precious variety of world cultures is not levelled by globalisation.

It's Techno and Tech house with the typical features of this music but also suggesting a special feeling and introducing an Indian touch perceivable throughout almost all the tracks in the compilation.
