Zymosis - Rarities and Singles (Altar Records, 2023)

Ukrainian psychill producer Zymosis is renowned for his ethereal and melodic take on psychedelic downtempo music. Fans of his albums have long wondered about tracks that were one-offs, promos, rare or otherwise unreleased. Rarities and Singles collects some of this lost and rare material together for the first time. 

Spanning the years 2008-2023, this compilation shines a light on Zymosis' early tracks already settled into his signature sound. Tracks like "Summer Twilight" and "Unity of Cultures" showcase a rawer, glitchier style that's a fascinating glimpse into his origins. Other tracks like "I'll be There", "Daniel" and "Zeta Being" have a more polished and melodic quality that point to the direction he would take in later LPs.
