The next Girlcast presents CAIVA 🌹

Growing up in a little town on the outskirts of Munich, CAIVA’s sonic introduction came in the form of saxophone and guitar lessons at her school. Beginning on sax (before moving to guitar after becoming infatuated with the finger-picking talents of guitarist Andy McKee), she began to study the
theory behind music and how that applied to her talents. 
Previous label outings have included a vocal feature on Stuttgart based record label NewKids Records and a debut on UK label Lobster Theremin is due to land at the end of 2021. In addition to this. CAIVA has played at Club Douala Ravensburg, Midsomar Festival Wasserburg, Paradox Club Augsburg, H13 Rausch & Flausch Festival Berlin, Unknown Rave Nuremberg and Haus 33 Nuremberg.

al dente! Mama mia, wo sind wir diesmal unterwegs? 
Wir können euch beruhigen, wir bleiben musikalisch! Aber gehen diesmal in die Schweiz und zwar nach Genf, wo DJ al dente herkommt und die Schweizer Technoszene aufwirbeln will! 
Lieben gelernt hat sie das auflegen aber im Erasmus in Berlin, wo auch sonst? Mit ihrer Clique organisierte sie kleine Raves auf dem Tempelhofer Feld und dem Grunewald und bietete so einen kleine Flucht aus diesem Chaos. 
Inspiriert von dr.rubinstein, Ellen Alien, sowie Joey Beltram ist ihr Sound gekennzeichnet von 
treibenden 90er Techno, Acid und Trance. Ihre Sets sind einfach al dente und wir konnten uns selber davon überzeugen, dass sie eine excellente Beatköchin ist!

Karlsruhe-based Sepbtt crosses genre boundaries by combining tribal sounds with a variety of drum patterns and racing beats. His first contacts with electronic music through drum and bass and hardcore still show themselves in his current approach techno, intersecting less conventional sounds for a full-on sensorial experience. His podcast combines all these elements in a one-hour sneak-peak into his set in the first SweetSpot party on the 2nd of April. Expect hip-shaking tunes to make you sweat on the dance floor!

Lion & Florian’s first feature fuses vocals and drums from the original rap song by Mobb Deep into a sharp, pumping and dense throughout intercommunicating arrangement.
Thus, the piece embodies a part of Both the artists’ youth, as well as incorporating their current attitude and musical direction for the start of winter season. A message that drives to continue, no matter how umpromising and difficult the path may be, believe and persevere. Here to stay. Survival of the fittest.
