And now for our next trick.... we dipped into the Stax catalog for a Memphis Funk-flavored remix of one our favorite West Coast Gangster Rap tracks. A horn-heavy affair with a big drum break and bassline. The perfect soundtrack for winding down your Summer!

RSW was one of those bands I was first turned unto in the Industrial age, kids this is before raves when clubs played stuff like The Cure, Joy Division and "Biting My Nails" was one of those songs they would play. Anyway, I loved "Biting My Nails" and soon was buying cassettes from RSW and eventually ran into the "In Dub" album. My DJ friend Greg Om turned me unto this album and I loved the stripped down versions and the break-beats. It was truly influential into me making breaks later. For my Re-Jam, I cut it up a bit, added more drums and flipped it to fit my LNW style a bit. Hope you dig it.
