Johnny Ace is Dead

I'm a veteran singer/songwriter/guitarist who has played in many blues/rock bands as a lead guitarist/vocalist and also released an acoustic CD in 2007, now out of print, called "Southbound Road" on the You Tune label. My original tunes here were recorded with me playing all instruments except for drums. They're what I would call Americana, country, or rockabilly mainly. Hope you will give them a listen. Cheers!

Grew up in the south. Cut my teeth on soul, beach music and country and eventually waded into heavy metal. I like it all. The photo by Hunter Prince.
    The DAW has opened up a world that I could not have even dreamed of when I began playing.  I feel like a painter who has somehow stumbled into a studio full of brushes, canvases and paints.
   I like all music and in it I find human emotion, experience and imagination expressed.  I feel spiritually connected to the human race through music.
