Milio completes his most accomplished year yet with a third EP of 2022 on Atomnation. One More is the latest in a series and is a three-track deep house trip through the cosmos.

he sixth vinyl release from Manjumasi is a proper dance floor offering from label co-founder atish, featuring two originals built around smoky samples that evoke the basement club vibes of yesteryear.

First up is He’s Gone with an irresistible vocal and a hooky groove. Second is title track Birdland with a warped sax sample carrying the track onwards. On the B-side are a pair of groove-forward remixes of Birdland.

Steve O’Sullivan offers up a dubby minimal interpretation that takes the tune’s elements in a more hypnotic direction.

Zone+ explores a floatier melodic realm, letting the saxophone waft above a bouncy rubber bassline.

Crossfade Sounds welcomes back South Korean artist Deepdrome for his highly anticipated return to the label with the Natural Phenomenon EP. Following his standout remix for Francesco Tamburrano last year, Deepdrome delivers a powerful four-track collection of original productions, showcasing his signature blend of deep, atmospheric grooves and intricate rhythms. Known for his releases on respected imprints like Greyscale, Piranha Siberia Dub, and LW Recordings, Deepdrome continues to solidify his place in the global electronic music scene with this latest offering.

The Natural Phenomenon EP also features a standout remix of Fluid Dynamics by label regular Seabra Monkey, the Dutch producer adding his own dynamic touch to the track.

Building The Community

Correspondant present the vinyl sampler for their 3rd label compilation. Following in the success of the previous two entries in the series, this latest edition provides a perfect snapshot of how the relatively young label has matured over three years, with contributions from a range of artists including big names (such as Roman Flügel and Chloe), close Correspondant family (like Man Power and Red Axes), and exciting new rising talent (including Bird of Paradise and Sigward).

With eight tracks, split over two records, Compilation 03 sees curator and label owner, Jennifer Cardini, displaying an even wider musical breadth than the previous two compilation incarnations, but still represents the undefinable yet unmistakable sound which truly marks out Correspondant as unique.

Correspondant Compilation 03 is due out via Correspondant on June 15.
