I really tried my best to edit this /filter/ not compress this too much so it's listenable, because we shared the stage with dancers! YOu can hear Misha singing as he lead the dancers  never makes as good sound as your ears do, but fuck it. At least the dancing is in time with the music.

We had 3x guitars, 1xContra BaSSSSS, 1x acordion, 1 violins, flute, tamboura, descant recorder, mandolin, Irish bouzuki and maybe one or two other things!

Bulgarian Tune, 2 Rila.M.E

This recording was my old trusty NT1 stereo mic in to my gear, but the mic was on the stage facing the wedding band 5 metres away! There is bass somewhere amongst the Tuba, 2 drummers, saxes, trumpets, acordion and trombone! Please feel free to download and enjoy stereo ambience - and try to imagine you are drinking moonshine for 3 days in a Ukrainian viliage.

Suhaky is a tiny viliage 600 people living there in beautiful old houses with wells! Everyone grows enough veg for the winter, there's animals everywhere, and it just feels like a perfect place to chill. You could even buy a house for less than 10,000euros! They have an old soviet culture house with a huge stage and hall, and next door they had a kids brass band school! I saw them playing and they were amazing.  This wedding for Vova and Katia lasted 2 days with constant music like this, and a duet DJ/vocalist playing Romanian/Ukrainian/Russian/Moldovan music and singing with it. They also had the music pumping through a mini rave soundsystem outside of the venue so we were playing/ dancing there too! The Orthadox church service was out of this world... Mindblowing. Congratulations guys!!

Peninsulas- Full Concert

If anyone feels like visiting Albania, I can put you in contact with these guys! Absolute legends - they looked after us all night, and the music they play sounds something like Turkish, but different, with Macams from the pitch bend of the two korg synthesisers. There were three singers, and it was full volume in this average sized club in Shkodera city. Pretty much no one there knows English, and Italian is their second language, but before they played electric Alexi and I played guitar and contra bass with them as they drummed on the table and sang accoustic - obviously I forgot to record that, but it was fucking cool.

We met an Albanian guy who'd been in England for 9 years, but that's not a story for Facebook ; )

At 4am we were drunk on the street with the guys in the early dawn with this friendly old taxi driver, not in any rush at all. Suddenly the Mosque sounded the call to prayer, and it was one of those amazing dreamy moments...
