A Big Adventure

This is an instrumental piece I am writing to release as the next song in my Online Music Series. It symbolizes struggle, sacrifice, and the light that we all (or at least most of us) hope is at the end of the tunnel.  I dedicate this to my dad, George Morton Levy, who taught me about the light at the end of the tunnel before he passed away when I was five.

A very dark film trailer for an alien invasion movie. Electronic samples chopped and twisted into epic mayhem.

No Escape

A rich orchestral piece that tries to portray the Golden Age of cinematic filmscores. Reminiscent of John Williams and Erich Wolfgang Korngold, it builds from an enchanting Disney-like feel to a full epic theme, ending in glorious brass fanfares typical of this classic style.

Orchestral, with Piano and acoustic guitar - A lively piece with an epic conclusion.

Themes & Variations

Retro electronica, with classic catchy hooks, reminiscent of Vangelis and Jarre.

Majestic romantic orchestral themes, with piano, classical guitar, and some regimental drums and bagpipes.

Small World

Dave Holt was a Composer and Songwriter based in England. He studied at the School of Sound Recording (SSR) in Manchester, and besides a varied catalogue of work consisting of powerful orchestral themes and emotive electronic instrumentals for film and TV, he was a songwriter and also produced artists at his music production company.
Dave passed away on 11th September 2022.
