I wanted to do something a little different and always loved Portishead so i found this looped backing track of Glory Box from www.guitarbackingtrack.com and recorded a guitar track loosly based around the original to try to achieve there awesome guitar tone using Amplitube, iRigh HD and a Cry Baby Wah

My cover of Lynyrd Skynyrd's Epic Free Bird. I used a backing track from guitarbackingtrack.com which only has Vocals, Bass, Drums and Acoustic Guitar laid down. I then used my iPhone plugged into a iRig HD and Amplitube. Once I found the desired sound I wanted using Amplitube's amazing selection of virtual amps and effects (including the Uni Vibe!) to record 3 electric guitar tracks. slide, rhythm and lead solo.
