Hello everyone, and welcome to Wednesday! Il Modo is back with yet another exclusive Progcast for your listening pleasure, delivered to you from around the world of Progressive Beats. After taking in a brand new country and wandering around Europe recently, we're bringing you back to one of the U.K's original clubbing haunts, the Steel City of Sheffield! Make some noise for Dave Lazenby! 

Dave Lazenby has always been passionate about music. As a kid, he was the one in school who shared mix tapes of the latest music with every other kid in the playground, so it was no surprise that his passion for sharing music led to him becoming a DJ. 

Since the 90s,  Dave has travelled the world in homage to his passion, journeying as far afield as Singapore to attend events. He regularly DJ'd afterparties in the UK throughout the naughties and regularly visited clubs such as Back to Basics, Gatecrasher, Sankeys, Fabric, Turnmills, Ibiza.....and many more.

During lockdown, Dave reacquainted himself with his Technics 1210's and got the DJ bug again. Within months, he attained a monthly residency on Subcode – a global progressive house radio station, receiving plaudits for his punchy and fluid Progressive House and Melodic Techno sets. He currently holds residencies on 4beatradio.com and Progressive House UK and regularly provides mixes for other global platforms.  

Since lockdown, Dave has enjoyed playing at various club nights and festivals across the UK. He launched his own night "Another LIfe" in Sheffield, as well as playing for Secluded Events Worldwide that saw him support the likes of Dave Seaman, Quivver, Steve Parry, Lexicon Avenue and Higgins. 

2023 has been a fantastic year so far, its seen him making his Ibiza debut, playing at Es Paradis and Ibiza Rocks Bar for Ibiza-Playabout, and numerous times at Hotel Garbi, his favourite place to play in the world. 

Moving into the world of production then was a logical step for Dave, and he makes his debut collaborating with Jon Towell on "The Face" on Saline Recordings, a track inspired by a night at Renaissance Ibiza. That track features on this exclusive mix and Dave's first foray into making music has made him hungry for more......
