The first Revolution bar opened in Manchester in 1996. 19 years later and Revolution Bars Group plc is now made up of 52 Revolution bars and 5 Revolución de Cubas, all across the UK.

The first Revolution appeared on Oxford Road, Manchester in 1996. Since then a further 62 (at the time of writing!) have opened across the nation. From Aberdeen to Plymouth: Swansea to York; the Revolution logo is now a familiar sign.

Although there is a distinct brand, every bar is uniquely designed to reflect the area in which it is located. So, whilst there is commonality with a distinct vodka theme (the Company owns its own vodka factory producing more than 30 varieties), there are subtle differences to the design of each bar. You will never confuse America Square with the Albert Dock!

Inventive Leisure has ridden the wave of economic success and bucked the effect of recession: continuing to open bars into the second decade of the 21st century (in stark contrast to the much publicised demise of pubs and bars in general).

Each Revolution bar has its own character, individual design and layout, with bar interiors tailored on a site-by-site basis to utilise the space available and best attributes of the premises.

All Revolution bars are located in towns or cities, with none in edge- or out-of-town locations, reflecting the focus on a premium offering to urban consumers.

To celebrate 20 years of memories, here is an unheard live recording of DJ Melo-D (The Funkaholic) and Host Dogtaniaun giving the party goers a power hour set! – This is also a special set as the world breaking news of the passing away of Whitney Houston is announced LIVE during the DJ Set, listen out for it.

It wasn't until 2005 that i finally took my passion for electronic music to the next level and purchased my first pair of Technics 1210 turntables. With my fast learning ability accompanied by great desire to perfect mixing style, i mastered my craft much quicker than most. The rest as they say' is history, my style is a unique blend of deep & soulful house music.
