My friend Brian Berthiaume is a gifted singer and guitarist from New Orleans. He is also a Luddite and has no computer or email and BARELY a cellphone. He works as an electrician and knows the words to just about any showtune. Once, he ran repeatedly into a burning house to rescue the dogs trapped inside. On another occasion, he subdued an armed man breaking into a neighbor's house who he knew was a single mother home with her kids. A truly multifaceted and beautiful person.

This is a song of his that I produced and arranged. One night at 3am, he was over at my house & grabbed my little cheapo spanish guitar & started singing this song he'd written. I had the foresight to have a couple of mics ready (just in case) & was able to record him, live sitting in my easy chair.

Over the next couple of days I added guitar, brushes & horns. Dana Abbott (www.soundcloud.com/dana-abbott) plays cello. With his blessing I present to it here you. I have no idea if he will record more, or do any shows, but I felt the world should hear his stuff. Maybe I will make him a site for all this stuff, if he agrees.
