Sergio Ramirez - MMG Exclusive Podcast (Jul 2020)

Evolved my sound from Part 1 making this my most cohesive podcast. For those with good ears, you will be able to hear some commonalities as one track moves to the next. I like my sets to all meld into one long track with a common beat/groove that ties all the tracks together, telling one story but with different chapters. For this podcast there are 12 chapters.

Each of these chapters/tracks are my own productions, many with private reworks & edits which I don't put out individually anywhere. So you can only hear them on my podcasts or when I play live. The reason I do this is because I usually have a specific sound that I want (at that particular time that I may be obsessed with, lol) it could be a drum groove, a synth sound, a percussion groove or even a click. When I release individual tracks, I can't use those same sounds for all of them, or all my releases will sound too similar. So I usually make private edits of these releases (of my core sound)just for my podcasts and sets. That's why these last 2 podcasts is called "The Sound Of Big Kid" cos it's literally my sound(s) and they represent where my musical tastes are at that point of time.

There are 2 (as yet) unreleased originals that I am very proud of that are featured in this podcast. They are tracks 8 & 9. "KAALA" is my favourite track right now! Here is the tracklist:
